Wednesday and Pugsley waited patiently near the door, waiting for their playdate. Morticia had told them she had a boy coming in for them to play with. They were so excited, they began making plans like what games they'll play or which spider to show first. Everything was ready to go when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it Lurch!" Wednesday said as she bolted past the towering butler toward the door. Outside was Henry, who looked at Wednesday and just smiled at her.

"Hello. I'm Henry. I was just going to ask if-"

"Come on in!" Wednesday interrupted as she tugged at his arm. Henry just followed, a confused expression on his face. Pugsley was sitting on the floor with a welcoming smile.

"Hi! I'm Pugsley Addams! You've met my sister, Wednesday," Pugsley said enthustiastically.

"Nice to meet you. Name's Henry." Henry walked over to Pugsley and held out his hand which Pugsley proudly shook. "Listen, I have to get a ball out of your backyard and get back to my friend's house."

"Aw, but will you stay and play with us for a bit?" Wedneday asked with a hurt puppy look. Henry opened his mouth to deny the request, but he instead considered it.

"Alright, I'll stay. Say, you have a neat looking-" Henry looks at the fish with the leg sticking out of it, "...home."

"Gee, thanks! Most people just look at it and run," Pugsley said.

"I'll run upstairs and grab our toys," Wednesday said as she bounded up the stairs.

"What do you want to play first?" Pugsley asked.

"Um, anything you want to," Henry said. Pugsley smiled as Wednesday bounded down the stairs with a scalpel, some rope, the miniature guillotine, and some markers.

"Let's play Autopsy!" Pugsley said as he took the scalpel and held it out to Henry.

"T-That isn't real, is it?" Henry stammered as he backed away.

"Why wouldn't it be?" Pugsley said with a look of confusion.

"How about something else," Henry hesitantly said.

"I know! We can play French Revolution! Grandmama taught us about the revolution, and we chopped off our dolls' heads," Wednesday said proudly, making a line across her neck and making the sound of a guillotine. Henry gulped and started to back away.

"I don't know about you, but I'm getting out of here!" Henry shouted. And with that, he ran out of the door as quickly as possible.

"I wonder what that was all about," Pugsley said, looking down.

"Don't worry. He wasn't any fun. Did you see that tan of his?" Wednesday looked up and smiled.

"You're right. All families are a little goofy." Both siblings bounded up the stairs to play in the attic.

~Next Day~

Morticia sat in her chair as Gomez read the paper in the chair next to her's. She looked a bit troubled, her eyes showing a kind of sadness.

"Cara, is something wrong?" Gomez asked, worried.

"Oh, I was just thinking about that boy Wednesday and Pugsley told us about. He wasn't a good play date," Morticia said as she stopped her knitting.

"Well, all children can't have the advantages as ours," Gomez said proudly.

"True, but I wish they had a better play date," Morticia said, putting away her knitting and leaning back on her chair.

"Maybe we can schedule another one," Gomez offered. Before she can reply, the children came bouncing down the stairs.

"Hello Mother, Father," Wednesday and Pugsley said in unison.

"Hello darlings!" Morticia said as she stroked one of Wednesday's braids.

"Mother, we didn't like our playmate yesterday," Wednesday said, a slight smile on her face.

"Oh, is that so? Well, we'll just schedule another one, how's that sound?" Morticia offered.

"No thanks, we're fine with just the two of us," Pugsley said with a wide grin. The siblings ran toward to the kitchen leaving Morticia and Gomez alone.

"Well, that's settled," Morticia said, getting up. "We don't have to schedule another play date." As she walked toward the conservatory, Gomez caught her by the waist.

"How about we have a play date?" And with that, the two disappeared for the rest of the day.
