"Isabella, are you sure about this?" I had never been more sure in my life. Abby deserved this. And I didn't want it, so why waste any of this paper or the time he took to get here?
"I am one hundred percent about this." Brandon came up behind me.
"I think it may be a good idea," he said. He knew Abby though he hadn't talked much to her. I smiled at Stephan who looked a bit peeved I would suggest it.
"Okay. Let me talk to her parents a-"
"She doesn't have any," I interrupted.
"Then who is her guardian?"
"Her cousin, Sarah. She was supposed to come visit her today. But I don't know if she will show." Stephan didn't like this and I could tell. It wasn't by the book I was assuming but this was starting to mean alot to me.
"Let me try to contact her okay?" I suggested. Hope to God she answers me this time.
After a few hours of playing phone tag, I got ahold of Sarah. After I explained what I wanted to do she agreed with it and said she would come talk to Stephan. She didn't seem so thrilled at the thought of leaving her house. I was waiting around in Abby's room, watching her sleep, listening to the heart monitor beeping. She looked like an angel lying there. It wasn't fair at all. She never did a thing wrong and she had to suffer through this. When I'm around her, I forget my own sickness. I forget the brain tumor, the pain, the long nights spent in the bathroom because I can't even keep my own body fluids inside of me, I forget all the shakes and shivers and nightmares. Her innocence tends to make me stop feeling for myself. She's this hospital's ray of sunshine. She had always been the first person to wake me up if I was screaming from night terrors, the first one to hold my hair after I get sick from a medicine or treatment and she once snuck into the kitchen to get me icecream when a breathing tube scratched my throat badly. I really wanted to do this special thing for her. It meant the world to me. As I watched her sleep, I heard the voices of my brother, Stephan and Sarah. I stepped out of the room and closed her door. Sarah saw me but she didn't say hello. Last time we were in the same building we managed to get into a yelling match for two hours.
"Now, if there is anything else I can tell you information wise on the foundation, please let me know," Stepan explained. She nodded at him. The paperwork was all filled out now and all we had to do was wait to see what she wished for.
"Are you kidding me?!" Abby shouted. She was standing on her bed, grinning from ear to ear. She hopped onto my back and hugged me.
"I love you! I can't believe it!" She was staring at the paperwork she took from Sarah.
"So what do you want to wish for?" I asked. I assumed she would want to go somewhere like Disney Land or Orlando in Florida. She awlways talked about Disney Land.
"I want to meet someone!" This wasn't what I expected but hey, her wish.
"Oh okay, well who?" I laughed.
"One Direction!" She yelled. What? Just the mention of that band could turn my mood upside down. They seem so arrogant. I huffed. She heard it but ignored me. Abby knew my dislike for the band.
Which is why I almost expected her to say what she did.
"And you are coming with me!"
