Izaya Orihara slumped back into his desk chair spinning around from boredom. He finally got a lot of his work finished. It was a holiday one everybody forgets... Day of the dead. He remembered reading a book about people dressing as skeletons to honor those who died many years before them. A ring went off on his computer. He spun his chair around to see what it was. His inbox had a number 1 on the top corner so he decided to check that. A invitation of some sort flashed up on the screen.

-------------------

Dear Izaya Orihara, you have been invited to a costume party with the dollars members at 11:00 pm this  fine holiday. Please come and wear your best costume.

Party located at: 408 Vandermar ave.

Your Host, ( random name ).

--------------------------

Izaya looked at the invitation as if it were a staring contest wondering if he should actually go. Vandermar ave. was a creepy place. It seemed as if nobody lived there and the sun never rose on that hill. He remembered it was a big mansion. A rumor about that place was that some time a long time ago it was a hospital for mentally ill people. That if somebody would go in there they would see a ghost of the murdered people. The people that should have had a second chance at life.

It was pretty sad now that he thought about it. But he was bored and there was nothing to do so he decided to go to the party.

Everybody was in a costume. Since Izaya wasn't one for costumes he wore a tux and a gas mask. It didn't actually work but it still looked pretty cool. There could have been more than a thousand people there. So many people, the humans he used as pawns in his chess game. Where he was king.

Your POV :D •----------•

You walked by bumping into him earning a glare. " ummm I'm so sorry!" You said bending forward over and over. " jeez calm down it's okay " you heard the man say. Slow music came on as he grabbed your hands and started dancing across the floor. Other Dollars members were dancing around also. If it wasn't for everybody's modern look you would have thought it was a ball from England in the 1800s. You stood out like a sore thumb. You had on a multi colored dress that you'd see in Spain. Your hair was put into a tangled bun ( or resting on your shoulders ). Skeleton like body paint was all over your body. Well, that's what everybody else saw. What struck out most was your eyes.
