After the two were finally finished packing up all of their belongings for their exciting trip, they decided it was time for some well-deserved rest. The gorgeous hunk himself was laying on the bed staring up at the ceiling with a smile plastered on his face, as if it were a mask. Helga his gorgeous lady, was doing the same, that was until she noticed his smile. " what has you smiling like a fool?" she asked him in her old English accent

Arnold laughed snaking his arm under her slender waist, pulling her closer to his chest " well would you believe me if I said it was you?" he asked smirking. This caused Helga to hit him playfully "you don't really mean that" she countered crossing her arms over her breast. Arnold looked over at her with an annoyed look "oh please, you're the only girl for me." he controverted giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek

"And if you don't believe me then, I guess I have a long time of proving it to you." he continued somewhat joking . Helga laughed, finally sitting up from the bed " so you have considered being my slave, I knew you'd agree eventually" she joked, Helga couldn't help but smirk and pull jokes with Arnold. It's what they do as a couple, they romantically tease each other. Just like in the fourth grade. Although, they hardly knew they were just teasing each other.

"Hey Helga? Do you remember before I left?" Arnold asked the sapphire eyed beauty. Helga looked at him puzzled "I remember a little bit, I did miss you.." Helga confessed gently taking Arnold's hand into her own. Arnold smiled " You kissed me, on my last day in Hillwood. You told me you loved me, but you were so unbelievably sick that I didn't believe you.." those green eyes of his shined as bright as an emerald.

*FlashBack/Arnold's P.O.V.*

I knew it was my last week of school to be with my childhood friends. Gerald, he's been my best friend since I was a toddler Harold, we recently became friends in 4th grade but we knew each other since pre-k, Phoebe she's known to be Helga's best friend, but I still think of her as a part of our clan. Even though Helga was mean most of the time, she had this sweet side she was hiding from everyone. We all still including Helga in just about everything.

When I first told the gang about the news, everyone began acting depressed around me. Everyone wanted to do everything with me, but we only had one whole week. I spent time with almost everyone during my last week in Hillwood, but Helga. She grew distant towards me as if I were an alien from mars. I hate to admit it but, I missed her constant teasing and name calling. Before I even had time to realize what I was doing I knocked on the door to her house. When she answered the door, I asked her " do you want to grab some ice cream, Helga? my treat." luckily she agreed but silently.

Helga was acting strange towards me, and I could never figure out why. All I knew was that I wanted to spend time with her, even if it was my last day in Hillwood.

Helga's P.O.V.

I was happy that Arnold invited me out for ice cream but, I couldn't help but feel a sharp pain feeling in my heart. While we were walking to the ice cream parlor, I couldn't help but be discrete. The walk felt long and awkward due to our awkward silence. That was until Arnold broke the silence between them "Well, you're surprisingly quiet for once" he joked

This caused Helga's blood to boil quietly under her skin "oh can it football head or I'll pound ya !" she roared as loud as a lion. This caused Arnold to laugh cutely " yeah, yeah, whatever" he challenged the cute pig tailed blonde. This began to really irritate her "Listen here Arnaldo, you better realize who's in charge in this town you got that buck-o?!." she yelled out crossing her arms over her chest.

Arnold had this snarky look plastered on his face " yeah yeah whatever you say Helga" he said smiling at her. Helga smiled in complete satisfaction "you got that right buck-o and don't you forget it." After Helga's small speech, she lost her footing by tripping over a large pebble. Luckily for her, Arnold managed to catch her just in time, otherwise she would have felt the cruel cold cement touch her fragile body.

After finally reaching the ice cream parlor, the two enjoyed a delicious chocolate smoothie together. It was somewhat romantic and sweet because they talked and laughed the whole afternoon. After that they spent a lot more time together than they thought she would have.

Arnold's P.O.V.

After their entire evening together, Arnold took her home like the gentleman he is. They walked home together hand in hand as they continued to talk about different types of music they listen, and different things like such as that. Before they knew it, they were standing in front of Helga's house. It was somewhat awkward because not only were they still holding hands, but there was a strange feeling in the atmosphere around them.

"Well Helga, I guess this is...goodbye" Arnold concluded, but when those words left his mouth it left nothing but a sour taste lingering inside. Arnold felt a pained feeling inside of his heart for some odd reason. He couldn't explain what he was feeling towards Helga, but it did hurt him saying goodbye to her. Before Arnold knew it he felt something warm and soft on his lips. His eyes widened in total and utter shock. "Helga G. Pataki had just kissed his lips. I love you Arnold.," was the last thing Helga ever said to me before she fainted.

Apparently she had caught a cold. She's had a cold for a long time, but she's been hiding it from everyone. It wasn't just any regular cold, she came down with the flu.I hated that I had to leave her the next day but after that kiss, I couldn't stop thinking about her.."

I actually like this chapter a little bit. It's pretty good and it's longer than my other chapters. I did this chapter while on the phone with a friend and, watching "Full Metal Alchemist" ~SweetJazzCandy
