CAN'T SWIM!!?

I looked at her with this "I didn't understand a word you said" expression.
Tessie looked at me and said "and of course she didn't understand a thing you said."
We all started to laugh.
We moved on with the will to find the "so called treasure".
Right in front of the orange tree there was a huge lake, we did know that we had to swim but this is big we might as well drown, then tessie said
"I can't swim."
We all looked at her as though someone just slaped us to face her, we looked at her in disbelief.
"I mean like seriously?" Said Torry, "EIGHT YEARS FRIENDSHIP AND YOU HAVEN'T TOLD US ABOUT IT!!!"
"no wonder you never came with us for swimming whenever we went to the farm."
Shelbie said.
"Alright!"I started,"its quite easy, nothing hard."
Then we all tried to teach her how to move her hand legs and etc.
Then we set off towards the lake, I kept my foot inside the water it was fine, not too cold, then we began to swim, Tessie did quite well, then I felt like someone was pulling me towards the deeper part of the lake, it was actually like Posidon trying to control the water by drowning us,
"Aaaargh!, help me!, im drowning!!."Screamed Torry.
Soon we all started to scream, the water was pulling us down, then after fighting the water for so long we all got tired, I mean eventually, if you fight the water which is trying to drown you and at the same time your grasping for breath, then I heard Shelbie shout out something,
"Listen everyone of you, if you stop fighting it, it might help, atleast for us not to die, just stay calm and we might do what Harry, Ron and Hermoine did but only if you stop fighting the water, we didn't laugh this time, in fact we stoped fighting and, we took a deep breath and we went down I opened my eyes I could see the others but I saw something else with them, it was something like a suit it was hanging down there feet, I looked down expecting one to be under mine too, there was one we all signalled each other and put on the suit, after struggling so hard we managed to get into the suit but Tessie, she struggled so hard but she couldn't get into it,then we all swam towards her as we could breath wearing the suit, she was loosing her breath, we all managed to get her into it and she fainted.
