Everyone Has A Past

La Tania's POV:

"Ladies and gentlemen I present the graduates of Harvard Law School Class of 2014." Mrs Reese announced as everyone around her clapped.

"I am personally very honored to introduce this year's class-elected speaker. After getting off to a quite interesting start here at Harvard she graduates today with an invitation to join one of Boston's most prestigious law firm. I'm sure we are going to see great things from her. Ladies and gentlemen, La Tania Grace." That was my cue. I made my way over to the podium and looked up at everyone.

The joy clear on the graduates faces, the parents bursting with pride some more so with tears. Slight whispers went around congratulating each other, I cleared my throat gaining some of the less tolerables attention.

"On our very first day at Harvard a very wise professor quoted Aristotle. The law is reason free from passion. Well, no offense to Aristotle but in my three years at Harvard I have come to find that passion is a key ingredient to the study and practice of law and of life. It is with passion, courage of conviction and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world. Remembering that first impressions are not always correc,t you must always have faith in people and most importantly you must always have faith in yourself."

I stopped looking around seeing I had everyone's attention I smiled I announced with great proudness in my voice. "Congratulations, Class of 2014. We di-"

At that moment everything went black. I felt no pain. My mind blank. My vision and hearing gone. My world...

Dead.

Zaris's POV:

Alarms were going off everywhere, screens were going blank, the lights were flashing and we... Well, we were falling, from the sky.

"Fury" I shouted catching the caped mans attention. He made his way over to me his game face still intact not even a drop of emotion showing through.

"What Agent Carlingson?" His question came out in bored tone as though he wasn't even troubled by the fact we were in a 20 thousand tonne helicarrier falling from the sky.

"We need to cut the power and turn her onto sub mode." I shouted over the alarms while he just looked at me like was crazy.

"You want me to bring a helicarrier with 14 hundred people and A HULK into the depths of the ocean." He questioned me emphasising the word Hulk.

"Why not? You brought him up didn't you." I smart assed knowing that if he didn't listen to me I'd do it all for him. He sighed and walked to his little computer platform.

"I WANT ALL COMPUTERS OFF. SUB TRACKERS ON. DR BANNER IN HIS ROOM. AGENT HILLS WATCHING HIM. DISENABLE THE ALARM. ALL JETS AND HELICOPTERS BROUGHT IN. ALL MISSILES SHOT. I DON'T CARE WHO OR WHAT THEY HIT. JUST DO IT." Nick shouted loudly moving of his little platform and making sure everyone listened to his orders. Although it wasn't overly necessary seeing as people were already following them before he finished. I walked past everyone and looked him right in the eye.

"Really?" I gave him a look of complete and utter attitude. "You don't care WHO or WHAT it hits?" I imitated him, stressing certain words. His eye showed the emotion that his face did not, worry... And pain. Yes behind the rough exterior Nick Fury did have a heart, he just struggled to show it. "No one will die Nick it won't happen again." I exclaimed resting my hand on his shoulder in a reassuring manner.

"That is a risk I'm not willing to take, Agent Carlingson." He said the pain leaving his eyes and anger taking its place almost masking the worry, almost. "I won't have the same mistake happen while I'm in charge. Now go help Hills. I WANT EVERY AGENT THAT'S NOT INJURED OR CONTROLLING THIS SUB, WATCHING BANNER!" His commanding voice boomed through out the room, a few rookie agents stop what they are doing to see to the latest command completely forgetting their previous one. I sighed and went to finish what they hadn't.
