In the first season, Sebastian didn't take Ciel's souls. Why? Well because when Sebastian's arm got cut off, it was the one with contract symbol so he wasn't able to take his soul.
So I'm fucking dumb as hell. Yes Claude stole Ciel's soul from Sebastian but either Sebastian couldn't take Ciel's soul because of the hand. Or I'm fucking dumb. LOL
