First Day, The Libra Cycle.

Alisha's POV:
It is September 24, and my first day of 11th grade. Even though school started two weeks ago, it is still my first day.I don't know anyone, since I just moved here, all the way from Arizona to New York.

My parents want a change, and want to be in the cool Adirondack mountains instead of the hot Arizona desert. I don't know if I like it yet. There's not much around here.

Anyways, it's now 8:00 am. It's homeroom. I go in and sit down. Someone starts choking. I start to panic, because that's what I do. The teacher calls the nurse and runs the kid down.

I turn around and I see this girl with dark hair and dark eyes. I look at her.

"Hello. My name is Alisha."

She looks at me and smiles. "Your name means mystery."

"Really?" "Yup. My name is Marcia, which means dedicated and supportive, so if you need me I'll be here!"

We both start to laugh.

Marcia's POV:

Alisha looks at me. "Why was that kid choking?" I don't smile anymore.

"It's been going around. Most of the time, stuff like this happens and you can get killed. It's been happening for ages, but since I've been here I've noticed something about it."

She looks confused, but interested.

"Today, is the first day of the Libra cycle. Every time the zodiac signs change, someone chokes and dies. Next time this will happen will be exactly on October 24th. Which is when the Scorpio cycle starts. The Scorpio is pretty special. The most stuff happens during the Scorpio cycle.

She looks less confused.

Alisha's POV:

Marcia looks at me again. "When's your
Birthday?" "November 22nd."

"You're a Scorpio."

She looks at me fascinated.

"No wonder why your name means mystery. That's your personality! You're so secretive and deep, but so loyal and protective of loved ones."

I boy looks over and smiles at me.

"You know, Marcia says this stuff all the time, so sorry if she is annoying."

I start to laugh.  Marcia looks over at him. "Hey! It's not annoying. It's amazing. Astrology is pretty cool stuff."

The boy looks at me again. "I'm Dylan, By the way."

Marcia looks at me. "Dylan's name means loyal, but he's not a Scorpio, but you know, he's a perfect match for one." She smirks at me.

I look at her in embarrassment. "What is he?" " he's a cancer, unpredictable, needs to be needed, and more."

Marcia's POV:

I wonder if Alisha wants to help me. I look at her.

"Want to help me do research?" I'm hoping she does. I need a another opinion on things. She looks back at me.

"Sure, but as long as you tell me what sign you are."  I'm happy.

"I'm a Taurus, the almost opposite of a Scorpio. But watch out. I'm pretty stubborn sometimes though."

We start to laugh.

Alisha's POV:

I like Marcia. She seems pretty nice.

The bell rings.

I wonder what she needs help with. Where are we even going? What are we even doing? I guess I have to find out.
