I haven't been in north Carolina in over 8 years. When my mom got married we moved to NYC where my mom worked hard to start her own clothing line and so her husband wouldn't have to leave his kids and job.But that all changed a couple of months ago when Carlton started cheating on my mom with his assistant Amber and my mom caught them in their bed having sex.

So she went and filed for divorce but when Carlton found out he took all the money my mom saved up including the money for when I went to college and left with Amber. With the little money she had left she took and moved back home and rent a house for us and got a job. That was four months ago I had to stay with my godmother and sister till school was over.Anyway I'm Taeler Marie carter I'm 14 5'3 brown skin and thick boned in all the right places .

Anyway I just got off my flight now I got to look for my bags and find my ride home.After getting pushed around rude people I found my bags and made my way outside to find my mom or aunt. I walked around for about 10 minutes til I seen man standing by a limo holding a sign with my name on it I got kind of scared but I went anyway.

Mystery M:Hello pretty little lady u must be Taeler?

Me:Yes Sir.

Mystery M:Well then I'm Bob I'm a close friend of ur grandma.

Me:Oh it's nice to finally meet u Mr.Bob.

Mr.Bob:U can just call me Bob so u ready to go?

Me:Yes.

We got in the limo and told the limo drive where to go since I didn't know where we was goin.Somewhere between leaving the airport and goin to my grandma house I fell asleep. I woke up when Mr.Bob started shaking me to tell me that we made it to the house and told me to go inside.I got out and walked up to a brick two story house and knocked on door til somebody pulled me inside and started squeezing me in a bear hug.After everybody finished squeezing the life out of me I went upstairs with my big cousin Keisha and her/our best friend Madison.

Keisha:My lil ugly finally home.

Me:Shut up I'm not ugly.

Madison:Gurl New York done changed yo lil ass.

Me:Whatever what everybody around here been doing?

Keisha:Workin poppin babies out fuckin other people mens.

Me:What the...

Madison:Not us some of the people we was cool wit doin all dat but we do work tho.

Me:Where do y'all work?

Madison:We work at Marriott hotel and Office building on weekends.

Me:That's cool I need to find me one real soon.

Madison:But u just got here.

Keisha:Plus we got to get dat New Yorker out of u before skool start back.

Me:What's wrong with the way I talk?

Madison:U sound lik a spoiled white gurl and I'm white.

Keisha:Fa real tho if u go to the skool we goin to talkin lik dat gon make u a easy target.

Me:Dang so when are we starting these sections?

Keisha:Next weekend.

Madison:Bcuz right now is party time and a bytch want her chicken greens and cornbread.

Keisha:U just hungry but anyway get u sum rest and we'll come get u after everybody else get here.

After they left I took my shoes off and got in bed since I was still tired from my plane ride here.As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.

***Somewhere In Dreamland ***

I woke up in a super soft bed that felt like a cloud. I start looking around and notice that I was in the same room I fell asleep in it was bigger than my room I had back in New York.I got up and looked out the big glass window that faced the bed.That's when I noticed that I was in a different house than just a room I was so caught up in looking out the window that I didn't noticed that someone was knocking. I was about to open it when it opened by itself and in came Keisha Madison Breiah Carmen Mercedes and Hazel wearing blue bridesmaids dresses.That's weird how do I know the other if I never met them before?

Me:What's going on why are y'all dress like that?

Keisha:The real question is y ain't dress? The wedding starts in a hour and 30 minutes.

Me:Wedding?! What wedding and didn't nobody tell me about it.

Hazel:Hold dis real quick.

***Smack***

Me:Ouch. The Hell Wrong With u!?

Hazel:Can u hear me! Bytch Yo Weddin Bout To Start Without!!

Me:MY WEDDING? IM ONLY 14 WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH A HUSBAND I DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT?

Madison:Wat everybody else do get yo freak on til u old and grey.

Keisha:Tae u need to hurry up and get ready so u can go marry yo boo thang.

Me:But kei-

Keisha:Ain't no butts just go.

Me:Please Keisha-

Keisha:Bye Tae I'll see u at da church. Now Go!

She pushed in this dark closet and the door. I felt my way around for the door but couldnt find it.I started walking and pushing clothes out till I sew a light infront of me I kept going till I sew a bright flash.When opened my eyes I noticed that I was in a room full of people clapping.I was about to lool up to see who was next to me when I felt rain? I how is it raining inside?

I woke up to a dripping wet Keisha and Madison jumping on the bed.

Keisha:Wake yo ass up Tae.

Me:I'm up y'all happy now?And why are y'all wet?

Madison:Bcuz da party started already and we came to get u so cmon.

I got up and took a quick shower and my clothes and went downstairs where most of my family and friends was.It was fun seen seeing almost everybody again till I got hit in the face with a cupcake by Keisha but it was fun though.But I still want to know what that dream ment.It felt so real could it be a sign ?
