She was beautiful and I couldnt take my eyes off of her, I guessi didnt notcie that we had both finished eating and we were both sitting with empty trays in front of eachother.
"You ready to go already?" i asked her while i was picking my tray up.
"oh ya i didnt even reaize how long we had been here.. haha.." she said as she pulled her phone out of her pocket to check the time. "Oh wow its already 5:30"
"You mom wont freak right?"
"Na she doesnt really know if im ever home, she never goes to check up on me or anything, she's always too busy with her boyfriends and keeping up with them"
We started walking towards the entrance where i had parked my car. I unocked my car as we got closer to it and i went and opened the door for her and cleaned off my dirty front seat and welcomed her inside. Then ran over to the Driver side and jumped in and started the engine, putting the air on cold and turning my stereo up. I had my ipod on shuffle and had The Used playing, I could tell Ruby knew the song since she started singing along, I thought it was pretty cute, she had a nice voice. The playlist went on and diffrent songs would start playing..
"Seems like we have a same interest in music!" she shouted through the loudness of the music smiling.
I turned down the volume and we started talking about my favorite bands and her favorite bands.
'Hey Karlee, I got 2 tickets for the Paramore concert coming next month in San Antonio would you want to come with me? I dont really have alot of close friends here that are interested in the same things as me and you seem like you would want to go" she asked me with this big hoping smile, like she really wanted me to go.
"Hell ya i wanna go! that would be sooo awesome!"
"okay sweet!! we cant rent a hotel and then the next day we can come back"
"That sounds good to me, ill just save some money up from work and we can ask for those days off."
"Would you mind if we went in your car if i offered to pay for the hotel?"
"Ya thats not a problem Rube" I was already shortening her name, wow we have only known eachother for one day and it seems like years of knowing eachother.
"Rube? haha, I guess your gunna be Kar to me then" she told me laughing.
We finnaly got to the front of her house and i pulled up.
"Hey Kar, Thanks so much for the ride and eating with me, i have never had this much fun on a first day of a job." She pulled out a pen and piece of a napkin form her bag and wrote something on it and handed it to me. "This is my number you can text me if you wanna talk or something, thanks again" she closed the door and I waved smiling at her and pulled out. I held the napkin in my hand kind of in shock from the day. Today was awesome, I fellt so happy for some reason.
