Chapter 18

Hime pov
When I reached up the balcony and sat on my seat, I clutched my head in pain and fear, pain for seeing those icy lifeless like purple eyes making me shiver like snowstorm has come and fear that maybe today........

She'll catch me.

I was already found and located, so what's the need of bringing up hope now? She might lock me up again in that place and I won't see light for years.

I'm scared...

Cookie-chan, I'll help you with the best I can so please,don't give up hope, I don't like my first and only best friend to be in that state.

Thanks A-chan, I really am grateful.

As long as we be best friends I won't mind dying for you....but that won't happen since I'm not exactly seen by others tehe. :P

There's the smile I've been looking for!

I didn't notice the time was passing and when I finished with talking with A-chan, they were already announcing who will fight who and that there's one month for us to train for the final rounds.

I looked at the paper the proctor gave me and scanned some, and was surprised at what I found.

Naruto vs Neji

Gaara vs Sasuke

Kankurou vs Shino

Temari vs Shikamaru

Akane vs Rei

Tamotsu vs Hime

"Hey grandpa!!! Nice job!!" I grinned, giving him the pose Guy or Gai was it?
Yeah what he usually does.

"Hm? Hime, you aren't mad?" He replied back, a sweatdrop formed on his head as he saw me with an all too familiar pose.

"Nah, atleast this is the chance where I could finally have a fight with Tamotsu without him hesitant to fight! Boo yeah!" I danced around the whole arena, screaming pocky or cookie all over.

Then after my 4th round Naruto joined me singing ramen while I continued.
After that, I quickly went to the dango shop, not before receiving 10 bumps on my head, a stare off and a laughing fit.

Of course I brought the three plus Amaya who we bumped into on the road, and was now starting to order.

I'll give you a simple summary of what they've ordered:

Rei: two sticks of Dango and a glass of water

Akane: 5 sticks of dangos with ice tea

Tamotsu went to a BBQ restaurant to buy his meat

Amaya: 1 stick of Dango and jasmine tea

Me: of course, 25 sticks!!! Waddya expect??? And oh Earl Grey tea.

And Yume, the one who was always taking my orders and for the others happily agreed and skipped to the counter, singing a happy tune like always.

"Hime, aren't you over exaggerating your number of dangos? I think it has grown over the years....." Amaya questioned, I just shrugged and just stretched my arms while I yawned.

"Nah, don't worry, for some reason she doesn't get fat." Akane said, making Amaya huff and mumble "that's cheating....."

When after I waited for about 15 minutes i think? I didn't bring my head watch... And our orders came where I happily scarfed down my food, others stopping for a while to chat and such.

After about my 10th stick, Tamotsu came eating a meat from his mouth, you could see the girls in the shop drooling over his 'manly chest' if that's what they called. He sat beside Akane and snaked his arms around her waist, earning a blush and jealousy waves from Tamotsu's newly attained fangirls.

"T-Ta-Tamotsu! S-stop doing that! It's e-embarrassing...." Akane stuttered, making me look at her with a slight grin and a raised eyebrow, Rei followed suit.

"What is embarrassing with our relationship when it's real and we love each other?" Tamotsu replied, pecking her cheeks in the process.

Akane blushed red as me and Rei grinned to each other, fangirls were crying from full jealousy while Amaya was confused.

"Tamotsu X Akane is full cannon!" Rei whisper shouted to me, which I replied:
"The ship has sailed!"

When I was jumping a little from my chair, which resulted my handkerchief in my lap falling to the floor, I grabbed it as a hand grabbed mine.

"O-oh sorry, I wanted to help you..." Amaya mumbled, I just grinned and nodded as she backed her hand away amd I picked my handkerchief.

When I sit up from my chair, I was confused now on why, Rei and Amaya were glaring daggers and death glares to each other, but faded when I made contact with their eyes.

"Uhh...why are you guys having a stare off??" I asked, making their closed eye smiles twitch a little.

"Stare off? What do you mean by that Hime-sama?" Rei questioned, her lips twitching vigorously as Amaya's.

"Uhh uhm just- nevermind." I won't add fuel to the fire, it's one month training and this is a break day, why won't I get a break???!

Then as I looked at the transparent windows of the shop, I saw it again,

Those eyes.

I better talk to Amaya about this.
