[Hayley]

Classes start and I want to cry omg. I'm a senior. I graduate this year, well next year, but you get my point. We each talk about summer in every class. it gets boring. I have a bunch of underclassmen in my classes and i dont really like that to be honest. These are junior and senior classes, no freshman and sophomore should be taking these classes.

I hate my first semester schedule already man. First block I have Mrs. Brewer (Algebra 2 with Trig), second block I have Mrs. Dozier (Chemistry 2), third block I have lunch wave one and then Home Ec and then fourth block basketball. So my favorite class is gonna be fourth block. Senioritis is gonna get me bad this year. Thank God it's only syllabus week. Mrs. Brewer hands us the syllabus and we put them up and talk for the rest of the time. "Emmmmmm."  I say and sit by her. "Hayyyyyyy." She says and we laugh. "Let me see your schedule." I say and she hands it to me. We have the same schedule besides fourth block. She has volleyball for fourth block.

"All besides fourth." I say happily. Clint comes up beside me and sits in my lap. I attempt to push him off of me but I fail and he just laughs at me. "You suck dude." I say laughing. He gets up off of me and I take a deep dramatic breath. "Pretty lady I will see you in fourth block." Clint says and winks at me. I kiss his cheek and laugh at him. "Goals man." Emma says and I roll my eyes. The bell rings and we go to second block, Chemistry. To be perfectly honest with you, this is my favorite subject. I sit by Emma and we talk to Mrs. Dozier and laugh about the stuff we did over the summer.

-basketball-

Finally it's time for basketball! I go and change and put my shoes on. Coach said i was captain this year. I was captain this year & last year. I get out on the court and smile. Last first practice in here. I'm a senior. Everyone gets out and we start stretching. On this team there are two seniors, four juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen. We stretch and run two laps around the gym and circle up for coach to tell
us what we're doing today. "Woooohooo. Good afternoon ladies." Coach says smiling. Me and Lisa, the other senior, look at her like she crazy. "Coach, you just quoted Afroman." I say and then Lisa finishes, "don't do that again coach." Everybody busts out laughing. "Okay but for real ladies, first practice of the season. Today we're gonna scrimmage the boys. Tara, centre. Lisa, forward. Tiffany, small forward. Hayley, shooting guard. Nikki point guard. Everyone got it?" We all nod and put our hands in. "Lady Eagles on three. Lady Eagles on three. 1-2-3!" I say and there's like a two second pause. "Lady Eagles." We all say together and we line up for pregame warm-ups.

After about 10 minutes of those the boys are finally ready to start. Guess who I have to cover. My ol boy Travis. I secretly roll my eyes and me and him line up facing each other. "So we meet again Bryan." He says smirking. "Shut up and let's play ball." I say and the ball is throw up and i get it first. I look for someone open and nobody is. I shoot a wink to Lisa and she nods. She runs in front of Clint who's covering her and jumps above Travis and throw her the ball. She catches it and Travis looks dumbfounded. I laugh and see everyone is open now. Wow, thanks guys. Lisa passes it to Nikki and she shoots and makes it. They throw it in and make it back close to their goal but Tara jumps up and passes it to me after she gets it. I have Travis on my ass. I try to shake him but he won't. I finally decide on a spin move under his left arm and pass it to Tiffany who shoots and scores. The boys call a time-out.

We run over to coach and she talks to us and we get something to drink. Nikki comes out of the game and Grace, a freshman, comes in. "Alright, so far we're kicking ass and taking names. Proud. Grace you stay on David. Lisa watch for any of our signals, Travis is on my ass." I say and we break. The boys throw the ball back in and Travis gets it. I'm on his ass like it's nothing. "Whatcha gonna now Bryan? Huh?" He asks me treating me like a little girl. "Shove a cork in it Jackson." I say back and he laughs. He tries to pass it over my head but fails because I jump up and get it. I run down the court, realizing it's only my team behind me and take my time shooting. I stay at the three point line and shoot with ease. 5-0, girls way. "First team to ten!" Coach yells and we nod. They throw the ball in and Clint has it. Me and Grace switch up and I cover Dave. He winks at Jake and Dave passes the ball to his right and i go for it and Jake literally tackles me.

We both fell and he fell on my leg. And Jake's a big dude. He played football until last year. Clint runs over and pulls Jake off of me and looks at me. I'm crying, I never cry on the court. Clint looks at my leg and coach says she's on the phone with dad. Our first game is in 8 weeks. Clint gets me up and carries me to the bleachers and sit me down. I'm crying like a baby. Everyone is crowded around me. "Price you're so dead whenever I get better." I say and everyone laughs. "Hayley, you're dad is on his way." Coach says and I nod. Dad gets here in legit 8 minutes. "Baby!" He yells and runs over to me. "Dad, I'm fine. Can we just go to the hospital?" I ask and he nods. Clint carries me out to my car and Dad carries my stuff. Nic sits me in the passenger seat of my car. Oh did I mention I got a 4Runner for senior year? I buckle up and Clint gets in the driver seat and starts my car and drives to the hospital. I plug in my phone and he holds my hand. I go to Twitter.

"@TheHayleyBryan- Pray for ya girl. On the way to the hospital😫"

We get there in like 0.7 seconds. Clint gets out and I unplug my phone and he gets me out and carries me in. "Okay bud, not that I'm complaining or anything but I can walk on my good leg." I say and Clint laughs and sits me down in a chair in the waiting room. In about ten minutes we're back in x-ray. They x-ray my knee, leg and ankle. They put us in a room and we wait and wait and wait. It's about 1:45 so we aren't even out of school. The doctor comes in and we look at the x-rays. I'm holding Clint's hand. "Okay so this is one of the knee. It's popped out of place but we can fix it. This one here is on the leg it's self and it is not broken." I take a breath of relief. Thank you God. "And nothing is wrong with your ankle." He says and I smile. He pops my knee back into place and we're on our way back to school. I have to sit out the rest of the day and it sucks.

I get back into the car by myself and Clint starts it. I plug my phone back up and buckle up. "Thank you God for nothing being broke. You are truly the best." I say and smile.
