The Inevitable Bond(ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

As we trotted through the corridors of our college , Lara and Veronica were discussing about our favourite tv show that we watched last night " The Crown to a Mount's Heaven" .

The show is about these people who organise a group of people , which are mostly in their twenties , into a team. They set up a plan of almost two weeks towards hiking a particular mountain which is renowned for its beauty and for challenges that someone would face if he/ she dared to climb that mountain.

They share their experiences about what it feels like to be there , the history of the mount , about its breathtaking fauna and fauna, what's so special about it and the climate changes.

Its the only show which delights us the most mostly because its more about hiking and facing challenges and living our lives to the fullest.Unlike the other girls who might be interested in knowing the next top model of Los Angeles or sympathize for the actress who got dumped by her handsome buoy.

"What do you think would be the next mount that they will hike?" Asked Lara.

"Dunno, but I know it will be one which will be worth knowing about. I wish I had enough money to participate in this . And I just hope the team they make this time would not be full of those pansycakes that ruined the show in the last episodes.." Veronica replied , rolling her eyes.

"Exactly , though the other viewers might think those PSs were awesome and whatever , as for me they ruined my mood , instead of making it better!" Lara said .

"But amazing odyssey they take isn't it?" Veni asked. Lara nodded.

I did not take part in their conversation because as we approached our classroom , I was curious to know what were people chattering about with each other ,while they 'giggled so loudly!'.

I stopped to see what was happening.
"What happened Bella ?"Veni asked. I ignored.

As I narrowed my eyes to know what was happening , the giggling stopped the next moment. As I returned back to see Lara and Veni , they were also grinning at me.

What was wrong with all of them?? Then suddenly i got a tap on my shoulder. As i turned back I saw a boy a bit taller than me wearing a white shirt with the words written on it 'Fly like the Eagle',black jeans and 'a smirk'. And yeah he definitely looked handsome.

"What?" I asked with an annoyed expression .
He gave me a yellow piece of paper.

"This was stuck on your back, because of which you were catching so much attention of them." He said sarcastically , pointing to the students around.
I rolled my eyes and took the paper.
I was so horrified by seeing what was written on that .
"I am gonna cluck like a chicken. Wanna join me???"

After I read these words I heard Lara and Veni burst out in laughter with the others.

"What the ??" I shouted as I started walking towards them.
"Aww...You didn't like it?" Lara mumbled as her body gave her impulse to run or else she'll have to suffer my wrath badly.

"Oh just shut up!Why did you do this?" I shouted on top of my head . I now realised what was the reason that Lara gave me a greeting with a thud this morning.

We ran our way to the class. I ran, to take revenge fron them and they, to escape me.

This kind of helped us as it was just 5 minutes to go before our math class began.

We entered the class and had our butts comfortable on the chairs.

"Don't ever do that again. But don't think I forgive you for what you did to me? I'll make sure you pay for it." I said.

"I didn't apologize. Did I? Then why to forgive?" Lara smirked and Veni laughed.

I must acknowledge you with the fact that though, I was always the one of the three of us to fall in the ditch of their frequent pranks, I loved them really very much. They keep doing these types of pranks with me as they know that I enjoy it and I don't stop them because it makes me feel good by seeing the smile on their faces.

Anyone wished me or not ,didn't bother me much, but they were the first one jump into my good-sleep and wish me on my birthday late at midnight. They were like my knights in the shinning armor, who always fought for me when I had nothing to offend the others from their pranks. There is mostly nothing common in us but still we love each others company.

Then we stop talking as Mr. Warner, our math professor enteres the class. He was a stern looking man, in mid-forties and did not like anybody chattering in front of him let it be his lecture, in the corridors or like anywhere. But I must appreciate the knowledge he had. No questions, in a math problem, remained unsolved if he were the one to solve it.

I popped out of my thoughts as I heard my name while he was taking the usual quick class attendence.

"Bellarine Matthews?" He said again.
"May I have your attention please?" He said with a stern look.
"Um.. Yes sir. Sorry." I apologized. I heard Lara and Veni giggle beside me. He continued with the attendance.

You may think I'm mad or something because who takes attendance at college. But the math professor has his own reasons, i.e. at the beginning of the lecture he just takes a quick look at those who are going to attend his class that day. Just as an army officer does to make sure every training cadette is present or not.

I sat down and glared at them like' Couldn't you tell me that he was taking taking the attendance?'. They grinned.

We then saw someone enter the class. I recognized him , as he was the boy who made me realize that I was presenting a circus for everyone , Free Of Cost.

Like ,of course , we should spread happiness in others lives as ''Happiness that we share is the happiness we accept''. Nice mantra , isn't it?

Atleast I believe in it, because I really do get happy when I see Henry laughing when suddenly I slip due to wet floor at home, or when I make funny faces at Lara and Veni , who burst in laughter , then I have my mom and dad who laugh when I get a playful smack from Henry.

And not only me , as I'm not the last one having the most ''feeling-of-true-happiness'' kind of heart living on earth, everyone feels so.
But at that point of time I was more of a joke than somone spreading smiles.

I hop out of my thoughts to listen to the boy as he gives an introduction of himself, which kind of proves that he is new to the college. While saying it , he just stares at Me(emphasis).
