"Our second promise would be to meet up in Pax Prime. And if we could be together by then, we will be. But if we still can't, then we continue the first promise and spend the convention together" Evan continued, a glint of hope shone in both their eyes as Delirious agreed

Chapter 15: E3's Best Mishap

The two sealed the promise and soon they were told to get off the boat because the place closes at 11 pm. They walked around the public garden, looking for a good spot to just lay down for the rest of the night. They found an open grassy area that lay beneath the starry sky and they decided to just stay there

"Tell me a secret" Delirious mumbled as Evan raised an eyebrow at him

"If I tell you then it won't be a secret" Evan chuckled

"Come on, I'll tell you a fucking secret for each one you tell me" Delirious grinned as Evan thought of a secret to tell him

"Alright... When you first messaged me, I wanted to reject your offer" Evan said as Delirious propped himself up on his elbows to frown at Evan

"Why the fuck would you do that?" Delirious huffed

"Because you were already far along and the guys and I were looking for people who were new to YouTube" Evan shrugged as Delirious didn't know whether that was a compliment or an insult

"I had the same number of subs as you!" Delirious scoffed

"Yeah, but you've been doing YouTube before any of us" Evan defended

"You saying I wasn't doing as good as you?" Delirious asked as he glared at Evan

"That's not what I was trying to—" Evan started but Delirious cut him off by laying back down on the ground and turning away from Evan

"Oh come on!" Evan chuckled as he hugged Delirious's waist and pulled him closer

"You were going to fucking reject me!" Delirious accusingly said as he tried to get out of Evan's grip

"But I didn't, now did I?" Evan said as his hold tightened on Delirious

"Why?" Delirious said as he finally gave up on struggling and faced Evan

"Why what?" Evan asked as he looked into Delirious's eyes

"Why didn't you reject me?" Delirious frowned, waiting for an answer

"Because when you messaged me, I tried watching your videos" Evan smiled

"So?" Delirious coldly said

"So, they were funny, you were funny and—" Evan started but Delirious cut him off

"You played with me because I was fucking funny?" Delirious glared at him
