4- Gone Forever

(Kylee POV)
I wake up to something wet feeling in my bed so panicking I turn the lamp by my bed on. Tears form in my eyes as I realize my water had broken. As I get out of bed and make my way to the kitchen where I had left my phone I start feeling pain in my stomach again but this time it's worse than it was before. I push through the pain as I walk the rest of the way to the kitchen and grab my phone. I dial Drew's phone but it goes straight to voicemail so I decide to call Carter knowing he was suppose to be back in town last night from visiting Olivia at college. The phone rings and after a few minutes I here Carter's sleepy voice answer the phone. "Carter please come get me, I think my water broke," I crying out hysterically in fear. "Kylee calm down, I'm on my way," he say keeping me on the phone as I here his car crank up. "Carter I'm so scared," I tell him as I slide down the wall so that I am now sitting in the floor felling to weak to stand any longer. "I'm almost there Kylee just hold on," he say on the phone trying to keep me talking. As another pain shoots through me I could no longer stay conscious.

(Carter POV)
As I here the phone go dead on Kylee's end panic started to set in so I speed up to get to her faster. As I make to to her house I throw my car in park and run to her door. As I turn the door knob I realize she had not unlocked to door so without hesitation I punch one of the glass panels in the door and unlock the door. "Kylee," I call out to her as I run around the house looking for her. Once I seen her laying in the kitchen floor I pick her up in my arms and rush her to my car, placing her on the back seat and rushing her to the hospital.

"Please someone help her, her water broke and it's way to early," I scream out once I get inside the hospital. "Sir calm down can you tell me has she had any pain," one of the nurses ask me as other come up with a bed. "I don't know she called me and when I got to her she was like this," I tell them panicking. "Sir we need you to go wait it waiting room and we will let you know something soon," the nurse tells me as the begin to roll Kylee away. A few minutes after Kylee was rolled back, one of the nurses came back out and made her way to me with an ice pack. "Here place this on your hand and we will get you back to see a doctor in a few minutes," she say pointing to my hand. I look down at my hand to see it bloody and glass in it. "Thanks," I say taking the ice and placing it on my hand. I had been so focused on Kylee that I hadn't even realize my hand was hurt. I take out my phone and dial Drew only to get his voicemail. "Drew I don't know where the heck you are but you need to get to the hospital Kylee is in bad shape, and I think she lost the baby," I say angrily into the phone before hanging it up.

(Drew POV)
I woke up to my head pounding and for a moment having no idea where I was, but suddenly memories from last night started coming back to me. "What have I done," I say out loud as I run my hands through my messy hair. "Well we had fun remember," I here a female say as she places her arms around my neck from behind. I remover her hands from me and turn to see Clare. "What are you doing here," I asked her getting frustrated. "I slept here with you silly," she say with a small giggle. "What time is it," I ask her as I begin digging in my jacket for my phone. Once I find my phone I pull it out to realize it had been turned off. "Why is my phone off," I say puzzled as I turn it back on. Once my come come back on I see that I have three messages, two from Kylee and one from Drew. As listen to my message panic starts to set in as I here a panicked Kylee and the Drew say Kylee is in bad shape. "I have to go," I say to Clare as I grab my jacket and keys. "I have to go with you or I want have a ride home," Clare says in a pouty voice. "Then you better get in the car I have to go now," I say as I take off hurriedly to my car.

I pull into the Hospital and rush inside. "My wife is in here can you please tell me what room she is in," I ask the nurse behind the desk. "Sir we need the name of your wife," she informs me. "Kylee Blake," I tell her getting more panicked by the minute. "Yes she is in room 340," she tells me quickly. "Thanks," I call out before tuning to the elevator. As I get up to her room I walk in to find Kylee sleeping in a bed and Carter sitting in a chair beside her. I walk in and Carter immediately turns towards me. "Outside now," Carters demands to me as he gets up and pushes me back out of the room. "I don't know where the heck you have been, why your look like you slept in your clothes, or why you smell of alcohol but you are not going to come in here looking like that," he yells at me as he pushes in finger into my chest repeatedly. "Carter she is my wife and I want to see her now," I yells back at him. "I don't care if she is you wife Kylee has been through enough in the last few hours and there is no way I'm letting you come in here and make things worse," he yells back at me. "You two need to quiet it down or I'm going to have to get security to take both of you out of here," one of the nurses call out to us. "Yes mam, he was just leaving," Carter tells the nurse. "Drew I was wondering were you went I didn't think I was ever going to find you," Clare say as she walks up to me. "Oh now everything makes since," Carter say before turning to go back into the room. I started to walk in he room to until Carter blocked the door. "Take her home and straighten yourself up then get yourself back her and be a husband to your wife," he say angrily before shutting the door in my face.
