The girls sat around Brikena's sleeping, skinny body. All clueless with what to do.
"I seriously hate Hitler." Karolina said not knowing she is related to him. "How can he be so selfish?"
The rest shrugged and looked at the muddy floor.
The silence was horrible and they all were thinking of the same thing. Sarah. How could she betray them? Just because of one boy who complimented her. Paniz thought of the time when she was outside Sarah's room and Sarah saw her, so Paniz rushed back without leaving one trace.
"I am starving." Zinab said.
"Me too!" Khadijah followed. Paniz and Sangkavie flew to get a chicken and cut it.
"Are you okay?" Sangkavie asked Paniz while they flew.
"Yeah..." Paniz sighed.
Back at camp the girls were ready to carve the Chicken.
"Brikena." Cagla shook her best friend so she could wake up. "It is time to eat."
"I do not want any." She replied.
"Too bad. Come on. Up, up, up!" Grace yelled. They all sat soundlessly around the fire enjoying their food.
Brikena could not taste the chicken; as if it tasted like soil and scraped her tongue like sand paper.
They all slept after an hour.
The next morning Brikena woke up with two green eyes staring back at her.
She gasped.
