3:27 a.m.
Melancholy periods tend to hit me around 2 a.m.
They can last for hours upon hours -- depriving me of sleep--
or, ever so rarely, 30 minutes
yet, feels like 30 hours.
All caused by so many thoughts running marathons around my head.
Overthinking.
One thought runs through my head, and I overthink it.
I never mean too though.
This period can also be caused by tattered memories of mine.
The feeling of nostalgia.
The feeling of nostalgia somewhat comforts me
in a way that's hard to explain
without receiving puzzled looks from people who don't
understand.
