I think the worst kind of pain
is having to watch someone
you love hurt
themselves.
There is nothing you can do
about it,
but sit there and watch them slowly
killing themselves.
They start to neglect,
traumatize,
and lie to you.
I think that in their bitterness
and sadness,
they turned to alcohol.
Only then do you fond yourself looking
deeper
and realizing that alcohol was the
problem to begin with
and is responsible for their
actions.
Yet, they continue,
unaware that it hurts you
much more than they
could ever imagine.
But you just can't say a word
and are left to sit
there in pain as you
watch someone you love
hurt themselves.
