Bs. Chapter 5

I was in my bedroom, just clad in a bathrobe while staring up at the ceiling and thinking. Was lying to Zachery for the better? Yes. Was lying to the school who I really was for the better? Definitely. Was inviting Elliot to spend more time, alone, in a room, with me better? I... don't know. On one side, Elliot emitted a dangerously mysterious aura. But on the other side, that aura was pulling me in, inviting me to explore that side. Suddenly, there was a gentle tap on the door. Mother?

My mother peeked into the room, before fully opening the door, revealing her smiling straight sparkling teeth. Huh?

"Kylie, there's someone downstairs wanting to meet you." My mother continued to smile broadly. The only time when she smiled THIS big was when... OH MY GOD!! I immediately scrambled down bed, throwing on random clothes before dashing down. HE'S BACK, HE'S BACK, HE. IS. BACK!!! Just below the marble stairs, stood Jake. My brother. JAKE. IS. BACK!! I flung myself onto Jake's open arms, hugging him tightly.

"Hey little K," my brother said while smiling down at me. Oh life just got much much better. "OH MY GOD, JAKE!!" I screamed while bouncing up and down in bubbly excitement.

Dragging my family to the patio, I called for our housemaid, Hazel for some fruits to be brought. I would usually cut the fruits myself but please excuse me, my brother was back. After 2 years. 2 effin years in New York, studying to be an actor in a prestigious art school.

"Jake Nicholas Fallon," I paused for dramatic effect, "WHY HAVEN'T YOU VISITED US FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS?! ALL YOU DID WAS TO SEND EMAILS, VIDEO-CHAT, CALL AND MESSAGES!" I finally burst out while hitting my brother on the head. "Ow! That hurts, K," my brother pouted. That nerve. "You deserved it." I said before hugging my brother again. "I've missed you, Jakey" "Same here, little K." "Hey! What about me?" Mummy stood at the side watching our little sibling moment still with a broad smile. Jake walked to mother and hugged her as tight as she hugged me.

Jake, 20, was around 1.8 metres tall, copperish brown hair, same coffee brown eyes that was flaked with gold as mine and with that broad frame of his, he overshadowed my mother's delicate petite frame. Damn I missed my brother.

"So Jake, how long are you staying here in Krestwood?" My mother asked after pulling out of the embrace. "Ehhhh... I guess I'll be staying for as long as I want," he gave me a playful wink and I stiffled a giggle. "That's wonderful!" My mother clapped. "I shall start preparing dinner with Hazel now, if you'd exuse me, I'll let you two catch up," she gave us both a loving smile before walking back into the house and into the kitchen. Jake and I both stared at each other seriously before saying, "Shall we?" "Yes, we shall," before bursting out in laughter. "So, baby sis, how's first day in the third year at school in Krestwood?" I waved my hand dismissively, "Don't wanna talk bout' it." Suddenly, Jake said, "So I heard, Elliot Mendes and Zachery Kade enrolled in Krestwood Elite? Is that true?" I nodded my head. "Well, do you know the story of them two yet?" He asked, suddenly all serious. I shooked my head and gestured Jake to continue. He then shook his head and stood up and vaguely replied, "Then it's not in my place to tell you," before walking into the house. If that's the case, whatever was inbetween the two boys seemed huge.
