I woke up with a splitting headache, my lungs were dry, and my face was implanted in what seemed to be some really dusty dirt.

I groggy pushed myself up to a sitting position, and looked around, pondering on my exact location, then I looked down again. There was a face indent in the dirt. *insert derp face here*

I stood up, and turned around, gasping at the astounding city that lay just beneath the dirt cliff I was standing on.

I heard the clumping of horses feet, a 'Watch out!', and then turned around to see a carriage coming straight towards me. Obviously, I couldn't move out of the way in time, and pain seared all over my body, then everything stopped, I heard an oddly familiar voice, and though my blurry vision, saw two men...?/ boys in front of me, and two ....er... cats...?

Dark spots started to take over my sight, but I was pretty sure that there was a blonde boy, a dark brunette haired boy, and the cats were standing on two feet, one in some kind of pink costume....

I must either be dead, or having some weird hallucination, wasn't I supposed to be doing a science project with AJ, and Katze?

Screams surrounded me, I had no idea what was going on, I opened my eyes only to see smoke and fire, I started spitting up flem as I breathed- coughed.

I was in a burning building! It dawned on me, I was desperately trying to move but my body wouldn't get up from the soot covered floor.

"Samei!!!! Samei where are you?!!!" I heard a frantic call. Without my incentive my body shakily found its way up, and I called "He- here!" In a croaky voice. I saw a piece of burning wood move, and a blonde boy pulled me upright, and picked me up, my legs under one arm, and my back over the other, so my head was on the boy hero's shoulder. Like a piggy back ride, just for half dead girls.

"St-" I tried to say his name, I think, but then I went into a fit of coughing.

"Sh sh shhh! Don't talk, I'll get you out of here, I promise. I said I would protect you from the new king, remember. Friends forever!" Then he started sprinting his way through the burning building.

This was really weird, how could I not be in control of my own body?

"St-" I started coughing again.

"Is it important?" he gasped, as he continued nodded.

"I- I can't feel" I started coughing again "my"' I gasped "l- legs."

"Now I understand," he whispered, still running, then abruptly stopped. "That bastard! He refused to kill you, instead insisting on letting you burn. I'll make him pay!" he growled, venom thickly laced in his voice.

His outburst must have shaken the unstable building. Ashes rained from the high ceiling of the what I now presumed to be a burning mansion. The blonde hissed as a thick chunk of blazing wood fell from the ceiling and cut to the bone on his forehead, then I paled me in the back.

I let out a weak yelp, and started sprinting faster than I ever thought someone could, not even bothering to take the stick out of my back as he ran, which was just fine, because it fell out almost immediately after he began to sprint.

This was a dream!

I sat straight up. I looked around, where was I? Some kind of infirmary, I think.

"Hello?" I called.

There was a thump, then a crash, and then a boy who looked just a tad older than me stumbled into the room with a cat- on hind legs- in a jean jacket. Okay then. That's just normal.
