Chapter 2: The Beast In My Backyard

My so called uncle said that we would begin my training with my new found powers tomorrow Ding Dong the doorbell rang

" I'll get it!" I yelled

"Hi" said a girl shyly

" Hi Chloe" I replied blushing

Chloe has been a girl who I liked since fifth grade and she always helped me through thick and thin she been there for me and helped me with some of my bullies.

"Can I come in" she asked

"Of course" I said snapping back into reality

"Can I see that flower garden you and your uncle built in your backyard" she asked nicely

"Yeah, sure help yourself" I said

"Thanks" she replied

"Psst"

I looked around for the source of the noise

"Behind the stairs"

I looked behind the stairs to find Leon crouched down

"Do you know that girl" he asked in a hush voice

"Yeah she goes to my school" I answered

"I sense something special inside her" he said

"What type of special" I asked

"The magic special " he replied

"AHHHHHHHHHH"

We both shifted our heads to the backyard Chloe came running into the house

"T-T-Theirs" Chloe gasped

"I need you to calm down and tell us what happened" I told her

"Theirs a dragon in your backyard" she finally managed to say

Me and Leon looked shocked we both ran to the backyard to see if she was telling the truth there in front of our eyes stood a dragon no bigger then a horse his belly and his face were gold, his wings were no bigger than him and his horns were as big as two plates and were also gold. I was flabbergasted I couldn't believe my eyes there was actually a dragon in my backyard

"Right on cue" said Leon smiling

" What's right on cue ? There's a dragon in our backyard." I said shocked

"This is no ordinary dragon, this is your" he said smiling

I couldn't believe my eyes then Leon saw I was shocked so he told me that any dragon warrior has to have a dragon or he wouldn't be complete he also told me that we had to start the bonding ceremony right away so that me and my dragon could bond and become one so I was able to use his abilities. I layed on a bed with scented candles all around me he asked me if I was ready I just nodded. He told me to clear my mind off everything and make it emptying then he started to mumble something I couldn't understand then his hands started to glow green. Then, everything was black............
