Chapter 4: Training

In our house Leon built an underground training room so I could train with my powers and also with a sword. Draco could fit inside the space also. Leon came out of the closet with a target and a bow and arrow. He told me to shoot the target. I aimed at the target and missed by a meter. Draco chuckled in my mind

"What are you laughing at" I told him

"Nothing, it's just that your bad at archery" he said laughing

I was embarrassed.

"Try using Draco's eyes to see better" Leon told me

" How can I do that" I said

"Your bonded remember your able to use his abilities, just focus" he shouted from across the room

I closed my eyes and focused thinking me and Draco as one then, my eyes changed from green to red and my sight was enhanced I could see the target like it was in front. Then I pulled out another arrow and strung it to the bow then I let go and let it fly and it hit the center

"Bullseye" I yelled smiling

"Nice aim,but you need to hit the target with out using Draco eyes"

"No good job, no congratulation"

"Congrats"

I faked smiled

"Now we will do swordsmanship I think you will be better with that" he told me

"Ok"

He took out two swords and tossed me one

"Your opponent will be me." He said

"Not fair your good with the sword I'm just a beginner" I pouted

"Just try" he told me

"Fine"
I grabbed my sword and he charged straight for me at super human speed so how my body took over and I wasn't in control I block his strike then countered with my own it kept on going like that until we crossed swords after a while I got the hang of it and I was in control again and I grabbed all the strength I had and pushed him back.

"I'm coming at you with full power and speed"

I gulped I was a goner then he came at me charging muscles bulging and clinging to his shirt he raised his sword then I searched all the remaining strength and grabbed it and I put it all into the sword it started to glow, Leon was shocked but he kept on going with the attack. I blocked it sparks began to fly then I felt his sword breaking so I pushed him back so he could fall on the floor. My plan worked and he was tumbling in a mater of seconds then I aimed my sword at his neck

"I win" I said smiling

I helped him up and he brushed off the dirt from his shoulders

"Amazing, there was only one person who blocked that strike before you

"And who was that"

"Your father"

Then we heard soft footprints coming down the stairs Leon told me to hid the equipment but it was to late the person was already down the stairs

"I-I-It's that dragon from yesterday" Chloe said frightened

"Chloe I can explain" I said trying to calm her down

"Max, your with him why aren't you running

"Am I really that scary" Draco said

"Maybe" I replied

I asked Chloe to sit down so I could explain everything I told her what happened and the bus and that me and my parents were from a different world and that Draco was my dragon and we were bonded. I told her that Helios killed my parents for his thirst for power and that he was the real enemy. Slowly she started to calm down.

" So your telling me that your from a different world"

"Yes" I said

"And that your parents were killed"

"Yes"

"And Draco is your dragon"

"Yes"

"I'm coming with you" she said boldly

"Let me back track I think you don't understand"

"I understand everything I just want to go with you"

"Ah, Funny" Leon said interrupting

"I was just going to find you" he said chuckling

"Why" I asked

"Because when I looked into her aura it was as strong as strong as dragon riders in Avalonia, but there's on in particular" he said

"Which one" she asked

"A water dragon rider"

"Ok, but even though if she was a dragon rider what would her parents do, oh your daughter went to a different world to get a dragon" I said

" My adoptive parents" she interrupted

"Your what" I said surprised

"My dad died from a heart attack and my mom was stabbed" she said sadly

"Well that settles it welcome to the team" Leon said smiling

"But.." I said

"Come on there not my real parents any way" she said whining

"Fine but if you get in trouble then it not my fault " I said

"Thank you" she said hugging me

" Your welcome" I said hugging back

"Ok, then we leave tomorrow to Avalonia" he said smiling

"Yay" she said jumping up and down
