I felt Dan's grip tighten as the midwife said these words. We have waited so long for someone to gift us like this.
"So boys, whats her name going to be?"
"Carrie, I still cant believe you would do this for us! We have decided on Emylie Dee Howell!"
"Oh Phil! i cant wait! these 6 months best go quick!"
"Dan we need to get the nursery ready and buy loads of things first!"
"You guys are gonna be great fathers! I can tell!"
"Thanks Caz! Want a lift home!"
"Sure!"

*1 Hour later*
"Hey! Phil! come look at this!"
"What is it Dan?!"
He has been really excited ever since we found out Carrie was pregnant. He hasn't shut up about how we are gonna have little patters of feet running around the flat in a few years! I have to say he is gonna be a perfect dad!
"LOOK IT'S A PINK MOSES BASKET! CAN WE GET IT PLEASE!?"
"How much is it?"
"COST DOESN'T MATTER RIGHT NOW, THINK OF THE BABY!?"
"OK! Come on!"
We got stares and snigger's as we walked to the counter with the moses basket. The woman on the counter smiled and said
"Don't worry, you look like your truly in love, that's all that matters to bring a child into this world. Everything will work out perfectly i promise"
We both smiled. At least someone believes in us(apart from Carrie). I paid and we left the shop still looking for cuddly toys to make the room really pretty.

"Chill! So its the Small wall as purple and the rest is having animals painted on a pink background?!"
"Yeah, Pj is coming over to help us with that"
"Is he bringing Chris?"
"Of course! they never leave each other!"
"Remind you of anyone Phil?"
"Ha yeah, can you imagine that though? Pj and Chris, aw that would be so sweet!"
