After five minutes of struggling, I finally gave up. “Fine, I'll ride the damn thing.” and I pouted.

“Awww Kitten, don't be afraid,” he assured me while sitting in front of me. “I'm right here,” He put the key in the ignition and turning it. “Just hold on to me, okay?” He then put his own helmet on while I wrapped my arms around his torso and winced at the pain in my arm. He just chuckled and we were off.

The faster we went down the road, the tighter my grip on him became. If not for the injury I had, I probably would have broken a rib or two. After what seemed like forever, I felt two hands on my arms trying to release my hold of his torso. “Come on Baby, we're here.”

Slowly, I removed my death grip on his upper half. Then he removed the helmet and picked me up again to carry me to the E.R. waiting room. “I can walk you know?” I said as we – well he walked – through the doors. “Yeah, I know, but I like to carry you.”

Zach set me down on an uncomfortable waiting chair and went to talk to the nurse to get the forms. After filling the forms for me, because of my arm, he took them back to the nurse and almost immediately the doctor called me back to look at my wrist. The doctor took x-rays and we found my wrist was just sprained. I got a tensor wrap for it and pain medication.

“Thanks for taking me here and helping.” I thanked him as we were in the parking lot walking to his motorcycle. “No problem, it's my job, as the knight, to save you and keep you safe, you being the princess.” he said side-hugging me, I almost laughed at his adorable Disney moment but was too tired to do so.

“You okay now?” He asked getting on the bike in front of me. I nodded my head slowly and tiredly. “Yeah, just a little tired.” Flashing me his beautiful smile through the helmet, and reassured me, “You just wait and when you get home you can sleep.” “Okay” I said wrapping my arms carefully around his torso again taking in his warmth.
