A Brother

"She is waking up..." Said a deep voice. I woke up on a hard bed with 3 people gazing over me. " What....... What happened?" I say as I slowly sit up. A centaur answered, "You were on fire....... And your not burned..... " he "walked" away and grabbed a book of a shelf in the corner of the room. A blond girl sat in a chair next to my bed and kept staring at me, a confused look on her face. A shaggy black haired kid sat next to her, playing with a stethoscope. So most likely I'm in the camp infirmary. The black haired boy dropped the stethoscope and snapped the blond haired out of her focus on me. "Percy!" The blond haired girl said surprised at him. "Sorry Annabeth." Percy said. " Chiron", Annabeth said to the centaur," Should we get Leo?" Chiron nodded. Percy got up and walked out the door and returned a few minutes later with a curly haired Spanish boy who was covered in, what I think is, dirt. "Percy! What the heck!" The boy said. "Calida James, this is Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus." Leo looked at me and said "Nice to meet you Calida but why am I here?" He looked back and forth between Percy, Annabeth, and Chiron. " Leo we believe that Calita here is a daughter of Hephaestus and has your power as well." Answered Chiron. Leo looked confused and glanced back at me. He held up his right palm and it started ablaze. I held up my own palm and it lit up too, but more wild then Leo's tamed flame. Everyone gasped, including Leo and his flame went out. I put mine out too. "I have a sister..... how?" Chiron thought for a moment then answers, "Well we can't tell right now. Hephaestus hasn't even claimed her yet." Leo nodded slowly. I got up and my vision blurred for a moment then went away. I walked over to the 4 of them and said "Wait, when will he claim me? What do I have to do?" "You have to do something to make your parent notice you." Annabeth answered. Oh, great. "It's time for dinner so I have to go sound the conch shell." We all walked out of the Infirmary. I followed Annabeth, Percy, and Leo as they walked to the Pavilion. We got our food and gave the offerings. Please Hephaestus, if you are my father, claim me. I asked Leo "So since I'm not claimed... Do I sit with Hermes Cabin?"  "Your obviously a Fire Child like myself so just sit with me!" He smiled. We sat down and the Hephaestus cabin started talking loudly. "Did you finish the flying robo chicken yet..." "Did you forget to turn off the furnace?" Chiron talked about all of the up coming activities that night but Leo is going to give me a tour of camp after dinner. Everyone stood up to go to the camp fire. Leo burped and a little fire came out and then he stood up, stretched and put away his food. I followed.
