Chapter 3 I'm scared Hanna

Hanna's POV
"A."
I stood in shock. How could she know about A?! Why is A following her?!
"Alexa, how do you know about A?"

The girls came running over, and Emily ran out the Brew.

"What's going on?" Aria asked.
"It's not safe here!" Alexa cried. "We have to leave Hanna."
"We are not leaving. How do you know about A?"
Alexa didn't answer. She just cried harder.
"Alexa, this is really important. How do you know A?" Spencer asked her.
"Hanna, please!" Alexa begged me.
"No, talk to us!" I demanded.

She looked down at the ground and sighed before looking back up.
"A...A killed my mom..." She muttered.
"Oh my god." Alison whispered.
"It tortured us for years, and I thought we were free last year, but it's back! Hanna, you've got to help me!"
"I will, don't worry."

I took Alexa home after that. The girls came with me.
Mom, Ted and Noah had left.

We all sat in the living room while Alexa went up to our room.

"God, A us such a bitch."I said in disgust.
"True. I can't believe it did that to her mom." Spencer sighed.
"Wonder what it must be like for her." Emily muttered.

There was a loud shriek from my room.
We all exchanged looks before realising it was Alexa.

The five of us ran up to the room.
"Alexa are you okay?!"
She looked up at us, crying heavily.
"No." She sobbed.
"What happened?"
"I had a nightmare..."
I sat next to her and hugged her tightly.
"Can you tell us about it?" I ask as she wiped away her tears and sniffing.
"I didn't tell you the full story about my mom being killed. I saw the whole thing." She started. "I was five turning six when it happened and Noah was nine. Noah and I were playing in the garden. A came up to us. It grabbed me and tried taking me into it's car. Noah screamed for mom and dad. Dad told mom to stay out the way and take Noah, but she was having none of it. Mom grabbed me away from A and threw me to the ground. The next thing I know, is blood is going everywhere and bloodcurdling screams. I look up and see my mom with blood all over her. She fell to the ground and A shot her. But she bled to death. A took off and my dad was convicted of her murder. We placed in care for a while, we were soon adopted but Dad was released and got us back..." She said tearing up at the end.
All of us sat in shock. This fucking bitch!
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry..." Aria said crying slightly.
"Oh, I'm not done there. Noah and I were adopted by a woman who was such a bitch. She would starve us, lock us in cages. Neglect us. I kept having flashbacks in that place of my mom being killed. Noah tried his best to comfort me, but, she wouldn't let him. I'm scared it's going to happen again." She cried. "Hanna, I'm scared. A followed me here. Why?"

I held her tightly.
"Look, I promise everything will be okay. Alexa, you're my little sister, you are so important to me and I won't let A hurt you or anyone."
"Thanks Hanna, but we're not even sisters yet."
"That doesn't matter."

I looked up to my friends for help. They were all crying.
Speaking of A, I haven't had a text in a coupe of days.

"I think I better get going." Aria told me as it began getting late.
"Okay, I'll see you later." I smiled.

The other girls decided to leave as well.

I got up to change into my pyjamas in the bathroom and came back and saw Alexa curled up on her bed in her pyjamas.

"Alexa, come here." I said patting the space next me.
She got up, shaking, and sat next to me.
"Let's get some sleep." I told her putting the light out.

Ashley's POV
Ted, Noah and I arrived home after going around the town.

I went up the stairs to check on the girls.

I found Hanna and Alexa asleep in in Hanna's bed. They were hugging eachother.

"Looks like the girls like being sisters." Ted smiler coming up behind me.
"Yeah." I smiled back.
