Chapter 7

Alexa's POV
It's been a month since Noah went missing.
No one has seen him.
I keep getting text messages from A.
I'm scared. So is Hanna.
My dad doesn't talk to me because of this.
Ashley is trying to keep a positive spirit in the house but breaks half the time.
I found Hanna making herself sick.
I haven't eaten much because I'm worried.
And school, well, we both go but, yeah.
Today is the day Ted and Ashley get married.
They couldn't postpone it any longer.

"Alexa, you look beautiful." Hanna smiled walking up behind me and becoming visible in the full length mirror.
"Thanks." I smiled. "So do you."
"Thanks Lexi." The smiled on face faded. "Hey, everything will be okay. I promise. We will find your brother."
"A had him. A killed my mom. Hanna, I'm scared for him."
"I know honey. Come here." She hugged me.
"Thanks for being the best big sister anyone could ask for."
"Thanks being the best little sister ever!" She smiled.

Hanna let me go and we walked down the stairs and out the house.
We went into an old fashioned black car with a white ribbon at the front.

Mom (Ashley) was already sitting in there with two of Hanna's cousins.

Hanna is the maid of honour. I don't mind not being the maid of honour. My cousin, Jake, is the ring bearer. It was originally Noah's job, but, he's still missing.
I'm still a bridesmaid though. Along with two of Hanna's cousins, Jessica and Eva. Jessica is 18 and Eva is 16.

Hanna and I plastered smiles onto our faces.

The car arrived outside the church.

We got out first then Ashley got out last.
Since I'm the youngest and smallest, I went through first.

Everyone rose as the music played.
I spotted my dad who was smiling at me.
Aria, Spencer, Emily and Ali were there with their parents. Addison came, but no Noel. Her mom was there though.

I went over to the side and stood with Hanna, Jessica and Eva.

The wedding was really cute. Hanna and I cried. So did Ashley and Ted though.

We are at the table, just before the meal is served. Hanna and I were asked to make a speech.

Ted tapped his glass and everyone became silent.
Hanna got up and got ready to say her speech.

"First of all, I want to congratulate my mom and Ted on becoming married. I couldn't be any happier for you two. I love you both. Um, Ted came to me before proposing to my mom. Of course I said yes, because, I couldn't think of anyone better for my mom to spend her life with. For the time I have known Ted, he has treated my mom and myself with so much respect and class. About a month ago, Ted told me he had two children. Alexa and Noah. I never knew about them until the day before I met them. I am so happy that I got to meet Alexa and Noah.  In the time month I have known Alexa and Noah, a lot has happened and changed. I couldn't ask for better siblings." Hanna smiled hugging me. She let me go and sat down.

I stood up and she held my hand as I started saying my speech.
"My speech will be nowhere near as good as Hanna's." I laughed slightly and so did everyone else. "When I was a little girl, my mom was killed. I grew up in different homes with different people, and the only person I had from the age of five to ten, was my brother Noah, who unfortunately can't be here today. When my father got us back, my father started seeing different women, but, I could never accept them as a replacement mom. I didn't want to move on. But I had too. When my dad found Ashley, I never realised how happy she made him until the night I met Hanna. That was the first time I had ever met Ashley. And, after spending a while together, Ashley is perfect for my dad. I'm happy for you two. I also get to have an amazing older sister out of this! Hanna, thanks for everything you've done so far. Noah loves you too. But, Ashley, I couldn't think of anyone better to be my mom." I smiled and wiped away a tear.

I looked over to mom and dad. They were both crying. So was Hanna.

I sat back down in my seat.
"That was beautiful!" Ashley said smiling at me.
"Thanks mom." I smiled back.

At the reception, mom and dad cut the cake.

Now, Hanna and I, plus her friends and Addiosn are dancing like weirdos. But, that's us!

The night was going absolutely amazing.

My phone buzzed on the table.
"I'll be back in a minute!" I said still laughing from Hanna's dance moves.

I picked up the phone and unlocked it.
'Secrets and lies are all unraveling. Come on down to the station and meet us -A.'

I ran over to Hanna and the girls. I showed them my phone.

I told Addison to stay as the six of us made a dash for the door.

Spencer hailed a cab and we all jumped in.

There they were. Red coat and A.
I grabbed Hanna's hand and she put her arm around me.

Red coat turned around first. She was unmasked. Her blonde curls sat nicely down her shoulders.
"Who is that?" Emily scrunched her forehead up.
"Oh my god..." I trailed off. They all looked at me.
"Hello darling." Red coat smiled.

It's my mom.
"That's my mom." I gasped.
"I though your mom was dead!" Ali shouted in confusion.
"So did I!" I replied.
"Then, who the hell is A?!" Spencer asked.

It turned around. Unmasked.

We all jumped back and gasped.

Hanna broke into tears.

It's her dad.
