Just A Walk In The Park

Ashley POV:
"Our first headlining tour, I can't believe we've gotten to this point... definitely worked our asses off for it!" I can't control my excitement, everything I say is just full of energy. I've worked way too hard for this to just fall apart at any given moment. I decided to have Nikki over for a nice afternoon of walking the dogs but he wasn't in the best of moods. It was pretty obvious, the guy couldn't be anymore miserable, even if he tried. I kept trying to cheer him up about the tour but he was...distant. He's been like this on two other occasions but it hasn't been recently.
"What if I can't be what this band needs...what if in the near futur..."
Before I was going to let Nikki utter anything I gave him a hug, cutting him off. I could see he was nervous and the tour is already eating him up like it did to Nick. I'm not letting him go just because of some bullshit ideas! I let go of him and held onto his forearms tightly.
"Nikki, look at me, we're in this together as a team...Jeremy feels the same way, he's been nervous as well but I have to reassure you guys that the fans out there in the crowd want us, need us and we have to give back 100%. The fans love you Nikki, they want you up there, Jeremy and I want you up there."
I smiled and discreetly held back a few tears. I couldn't bear the thought of Nikki leaving the band. I let go of him and the thoughts and swayed to the front door.
"Not only are you going on this tour, and future tours, but you're coming to give my babies a walk."
I grabbed to leashes for my pups, and handed one to Nikki.
"Ash, thanks...you're a very reassuring spirit, I was being weird, I need to be pumped for this party. It's gonna be the shit!"
I laughed at the party animal inside Nikki coming out. The pup pups came to the front door, and we hooked them up, to get ready to go out for the walk around the block.
"Man it's too sunny outside!"
As Nikki said this, he attempted to block the sun out of his eyes
"A dead girl is always prepared, looks like you need to step your game up Mr. Misery"
I pulled out my frilly black umbrella and shielded out the brilliant rays coming from the sun.
"Ha ha, alright so maybe you were prepared for more than just the sun, Ms. Prediction".
A puzzled look sprawled across my face as I peaked out under the umbrella. It was paranormal how the sun went to instant gray. It happened so fast and I could hear the pit pat of the drops of water. I turned and saw Nikki laughing at the rain that happened too fast.
"hahahahahaha this is better, 1000x better than before I could just skip in the rain hahaha, hold your baby for a minute Ash."
I took the other leash as Nikki skipped in front of me to the end of the block. I felt my grip get loser on the leashes and my vision blurred. My head was getting heavy and I couldn't stop it. I started to tilt to the side and the leashes were far out of my grasp. The world stopped and instantaneously shut to black. My thoughts erased...where am I.
