Chapter 9: What A Family

It's was a moment of silence.

"Yes, yes," Jazmine said jumping into Shaun's arms, hugging and kissing him in excitement.

1 week later.

Jazmine had her baby shower. All of their families came. Jazmine and Shaun told everybody they were having a girl. Everybody was happy and proud for them.

Their baby haves a lot of clothes, toys, bottles, blankets, shoes, and baby tubs. Shaun bought their baby a stroller and a Minnie Mouse walker.

9 months later.

Jazmine is at the hospital and already had her beautiful daughter Brooklyn Smith.

Jazmine had Brooklyn on April 8, 2004 at 11:07am. She was so happy.

1 week later.

Jazmine, Shaun, and their newborn baby Brooklyn. Their parents came to see the baby for 2 hours.

"Hello, Mrs. & Mr Johnson," Shaun said shaking hands with Mr. Johnson and hugging Mrs. Johnson.

"Hello," they both said.

They walked in the living room and sat down.

"Can we ask you a few questions about yourself?" Mrs & Mr Johnson asked.

"Sure, ask me anything," Shaun said.

"What is your personality?" Mrs. Johnson asked.

"Well my personality is: nice, cool, laid back, a little goofy, fun, athletic, creative, and a cleaner," Shaun said.

Then they left after  couple hours.

Jazmine and Shaun took Brooklyn to the hospital to see if Brooklyn's health is okay.

They went home.

They said Brooklyn was having trouble with her heart, so they need to keep her overnight. The doctor said Jazmine and Shaun was welcomed to stay. Jazmine and Shaun stayed and called off work.

1 week later.

The doctor said that Brooklyn haves a hole in her heart. It wasn't a huge hole it was a little hole, that can get bigger if she eat certain food.

The doctor said her health is wonderful, but it's just something with her heart. They took Brooklyn home. The doctor said that Brooklyn can only eat soft, mushy food. So they just made her some mash potatoes.

Jazmine washed her up and put on her barbie doll pajamas.

Then they put her down to sleep.

"I'm worried," Jazmine said.

"About what," Shaun asked.

"Brooklyn," Jazmine said.

"Don't be, she'll be fine," Shaun said to Jazmine hugging her.

The next morning Brooklyn was rushed to the hospital. The doctor said that Brooklyn haves a type of illness that can effect and hurt her body in a certain type of way.

Jazmine collapse to the floor bursting into tears. Shaun ran over their and held her tight and whispered to her.

"Everything will be alright, just pray, god is watching over her, he will help," Shaun said whispering to her in her ear.

4 years later. Brooklyn is 4 years old.

"I want you, me, my brother, and his fiance, to sit down and just talk," Jazmine said to Shaun.

"Ok, when," he asked.

"Probably today," Jazmine said.

"Ok," Shaun said.
