I quietly shut the thick, black door behind me and locked it. Throwing my bag onto the large leather couch, I continued walking into the quaint kitchen of the townhouse. Before I could even begin pour myself a cold glass of water, a strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist from behind and we started to lightly sway side to side. "Ah, the beautiful actress returns to her humble abode.You did absolutely wonderful tonight, Miss Taryn Parker. It was a pleasure to perform alongside you." The familiar voice spoke softly, planting a kiss to the top of my head.

I laughed, "Same to you, Mister McPhee."

"Did you tell Josh about us, or are we still waiting?"

"Waiting. He still thinks I'm single as Pringle that's too busy to mingle. I got to meet his friend, Matt, though. He seemed sweet." I smiled up at him.

"Good. I'm glad you had fun. I'm headed to bed, okay?" Brendon whispered before unwrapping his arms from me and exiting the room, leaving goosebumps along my forearms.

Once I finished preparing my drink, I followed after him. While groaning rather loudly, I began the walk up the fifteen wooden stairs, only to find him halfway under the covers. He sleepily patted the bed, gesturing for me to join him. I placed my water on the nightstand, before climbing in next to Brendon, too lazy to change into pajamas.

In my head, I went over all the amazing things that were happening in my life, and how truly perfect today was. The performance ran smoothly, I got to see my long-time best friend, Josh, meet his friend, and now I was finally in bed with my handsome boyfriend of almost four years, my loving co-star, Brendon. This was dream-like, every bit of it. The night replayed in my head over and over as I drifted to sleep, Brendon's arm protectively draped over my side.

I never wanted this rush, this exhilaration to end.
