It's been 3 days since I last saw Jeff and Ben , I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss, and that boy Ben I've never seen him maybe he just moved here? I was interrupted in my thoughts by a knock at my door, "Kim, Hun are you awake"? "uh yea, come in" my mum opened my door and came sat on my bed where I was lying at. "So we have new neighbors, and they were invited to the get together that Beth is having (Beth is the owner of the neighborhood I guess you can call her that) and its today, we're going over to get them and then we're leaving, go get in the shower and get ready, but hurry." "mum do I have to do?" She looked at me when she was shutting my door I sighed and took a shower and started getting ready, it was hot out today so I put on some high waisted shorts and a white tank top with a big sweater on it that was a beige color with pink I put on my black van's I braided my hair to the side and put on mascara and light brown eye shadow I don't really wear makeup but I was going to a get together and a lot of people were gonna be there, I walked down stairs to find my parents already ready and the new neighbors here, the first person I saw was Ben. I walked to my mum "Kimberly sweetie this is Daniel, Martha, and their son Ben." She smiled as she showed pointed . "Hi, nice to meet you guys, I'm Kimberly." I smiled at them they said nice to meet you. "Kimberly why don't you and Ben get the food from the kitchen and carry it for us and tell Darren to hurry." "Mom I'm right here". He laughed and started walking out the door "Darren honey wait for us." Me and Ben walked in my kitchen and got the jello salad and potato salad. And started down the street. "So did you get caught?" "Huh, oh no if I did I would not be able to go any where,hah" "Did you sneak out with you're boyfriend?" I was shocked when he said boyfriend "oh no were not dating, we're just uh friends." I don't think I sounded to convincing because he gave me a weird look. "Oh , well uh it rains a lot here." "Oh yea it does but it also gets hot over here so yea, how do you like Portland so far?" (I don't know if I said where she lived already lol) "It's nice it's big, I'm used to it always being hot though." "Yea." We talked until we got to the party and we just kinda walked around and talked to people. We left around 9 it lasted a while and we helped clean up. "ugh I'm so glad it's Friday, or else I would be sleeping all day in school." "Yea , same, so how do you like school so far, or are you I school yet I haven't seen you?" "No I start school in Monday, but uh I hope I like it, I'll be going to the private school." "You must be going to the one I go to, I mean it's the closest one here." "Yea hopefully I go to school with you, at least I'll know someone there." We were almost home when I saw something on my roof by my window and I realized it was Jeff, my parents wanted nothing to do with him, they all thought he was crazy, "Kimberly is there someone on our roof?" I looked at my dad and he started walking over there and saw it was Jeff he started yelling at Jeff to leave us alone and Jeff started walking over to me and Ben his parents and him saw him but didn't seem scared him and Ben have each other dirty looks. ' do they know each other ' Jeff looked at me and my heart started racing and I got butterflies I looked away and started blushing my dad looked at me and glared "Kimberly in the house now." I looked at Ben and said bye to him and his parents. As soon as we all went in side my mom took my little brother to his room to get him to sleep. I started to walk to my room but then my dad said "young lady stay down here we need to talk." "I can hang out with him if I want, he didn't do anything he helped us, why can't you just understand, just because he looks like that you don't trust him, what if I looked like that would you not trust me." " that's not why I don't trust him, he's dangerous and I don't need you to get hurt, just stay away from him, he's bad news Kimberly." "You don't know that DARREN COULD HAVE BEEN DEAD IF IT WASNT FOR JEFF!!" "Oh great you know his name, is that we're you were that night you left?" I just stared at him. "Great now I'm gonna have to worry about you getting pregnant by some psychopath!" "I'm not going to get pregnant, Jeff isn't like that!!" "Stop defending him, stop talking to him, if you keep talking to him you need to leave, I'm not having my family in danger because you want to hang out with this crazy person who is probably a murderer." "I'm not going to stop talking to him, and he's not putting us in danger, I will hangout with him if I want" "Get out" he said it blankly. "Wh-what?" "Get out now, I did not stutter." I just stood there. "You have 5 minutes to get you're stuff packed and to get out now." "Bu- , fine I will." I was crying while I ran up the stares getting some clothes my phone charger and stuff I really needed. "I walked down the stairs my eyes burning. I saw my mom and brother sitting in the living room. "Kimberly where are you going?" My mum asked. "Uh I'm going to Julia's house for the weekend." "What was all the yelling for?" "I told her to stop hanging out with Jeff she didn't want to but then she finally got it through her head that he could be dangerous , and she wanted to go to Julia's for a while." She looked at me and I started to walk out of my house but ran into someone I looked up and saw Ben and just walked away. I taking to Julia while waking I got to the stop sign separating my neighborhood from the others.
Julia: wait so he said that if you don't stop talking to this boy you would have to leave? And then you said you wouldn't so he told you to get out?
Kim: Yea so I left and now I'm waking to you're house, I mean it's stupid there's nothing wrong with him. He's just a guy.
Julia: Just a guy I mean you could be into each other!!!!!!!! I mean you guys could have kids!!
Kim: We kissed........ (Awkward silence)
Julia:....... Oh my GOOOOOOOOD!!!! YOU GUYS KISSED AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME UNTIL NOW???? (In back ground "be quiet") sorry mum, wait so how long ago?
Kim: 3 days ago....
Julia: 3 days ago!!! My god so much for telling each other everything...
Kim: I'm telling you now?...
Julia: Well, do you like him?
Kim: Do I like him? Uh i uh yea???
Julia: tell him, hurry and get over here my parents are getting ready for bed.
Kim: I'm trying to hurry just wait I'm walking ya kn-...."
I look forward and see Jeff standing under a street light.
Julia: hello? Kim? Hellooooo?
Kim: I'll call you back k?
Julia: okay but if you get murdered just know you hung up on me. Bye
I walk over to him and smile we haut stood there and he broke the silence "We're you crying?" I look down "It doesn't matter," "uh, okay, um sorry about earlier I thought you were home." "You're fine" "we're you going?" "To Julia's , I uh my dad told me to leave so yea." "Why?" " I told him that I won't stop talking to you and that you weren't a murderer." He just looked at me and chuckled "but I am" "he doesn't need to know." We laughed he decided to walk me to her house to protect me. We were out side of her house and saw that her light was on then went off. "So I'll see you later, maybe in the bathroom again?" I just rolled my eyes. "Yea I'll see you later, and uh can I have my stuff now?" He carried My bag here. "Uh yea ahah I forgot I had it it's so light, but you think it's heavy. " "have you seen my arms there like spaghetti noodles" we both laughed. He looked at me and leaned down and kissed me softly. "Oh my god" we both look to see a frightened Julia.
SORRY ITS LONG I NEEDED TO GET SOME DONE TONIGHT BECAUSE I HAVE SCHOOL AND YEA LOL. HOPE YOU LIKE IT. :D
