He looked at me and leaned down and kissed me softly. "Oh my god" we both look to see a frightened Julia. I looked at her "Julia, he," I was cut off. "KIMBERLY, why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend?" Jeff and I looked at each other confused. "Umm, Julia, you, um aren't scared." She looked at them Jeff. "Ahah, just because he looks weird and looks like he's a murderer doesn't mean I'm going to be scared, now come inside its supposed to be raining tonight, and you've been through a lot tonight, tell your boyfriend bye." I said bye and went inside. "Are you're parents home?" I said looking towards the stairs. "Yea, they are asleep." We walked up the stairs and Ito her room. *skip to 3am*
I woke up to a horrible dream, I was being chased by some kind of creature in the woods, I look over to see the clock read 3:00 AM. I got up and went into the bathroom. I got done washing my hands when I heard the window open, I turned and looked at it, I was horrified to see the thing that was in my dream coming through the window. "Aaaaah" I started screaming I tried opening the door but it wouldn't open. The thing kept crawling towards me, it was a grey white color and it looked like a human but not a human at the same time. I started banging on the door screaming help and just screaming. "AAAAA HELP ME, LET ME OUT, PLEASE HELP ME!" I heard Juli from the other side calling my name. I was shook awake with Julia calling my name. ' it was just a dream' I thought to myself. "Are you okay Kim"? I looked over at the clock that read 2:35 AM. "Kim are you okay"? "Huh, oh yea, just a nightmare". "Do you want water or something"? "Uh, yea please," she started walking out when I thought of being alone in her room. "Wait Julia, I'm gonna g-" I was cut off by the sound of the window opening, I got up slowly and walked over to the door with Julia. We waited and then we saw two hands on the rim of it, they had black gloves on them. I got scared because I knew that Jeff didn't wear gloves. I looked at Julia and then by her door, she had a baseball bat by her door. 'What.. Why does she have this, never mind about that.' I thought. I grabbed it and started walking towards the window, Julia grabbed my arm to keep me from going but I did anyways. I got close enough to the window when the mysterious person climbed through, I couldn't really see the person since it was pitch black in her room, the only light that was in there was the clock light which wasn't bright enough. I swung the bat and hit whoever it was in the head and they fell down to the ground with a groan. "What the f**k, Kimberly, I come in to say hi and give you something and you hit me with a bat"? I realized it was Jeff and helped him up. "Are you okay?" "Yea, I'm surprised I'm not bleeding." I looked over at Julia who was standing awkwardly by the door. "I'm gonna go, get the waters I'll get one for, uh Jeff too." She walked out and down to get the drinks. I looked over at Jeff who was holding his head where I hit him. " I truly am sorry, but why in the hell are you here at , 2:45 in the morning"? "Oh sorry for coming to say hi to you and to give you something." I looked at him. "Hi?" He told me to close my eyes and to hold out my wrist, I did as told I felt something go on my wrist and I knew it was a bracket. "Okay open." I opened my eyes and looked down at my wrist and saw a beautiful bracket that had a charm on it of a quarter moon on it and stars with a weird symbol, but it was pretty. "Oh my it's beautiful." He looked at me and kissed me.
*skip a month*
Me and Jeff have been dating for 4 months I've lived with Julia for 4 months, I got my license. I've seen my mum and brother while my dads at work. Me and Ben are good friends. I have a job I'm paying loans on a car that I have. I drove me and Julia home from school and went up to my room that was a guest room. I put my bag down and sat at my desk doing my homework. Later that night we had dinner, it was Friday so Julia parents ordered us pizza. After dinner I went and took a shower. I let my longish dark brown hair out of the towel when I got to my room. I was wearing a dark blue night gown with light blue polka dots on it. I heard my window open and saw Jeff come in. He looked like something was bothering him. I went over and tried to hug and kiss him but he just turned around and faced the window. "Jeff are you okay?" "We need to talk Kimberly, but not in here lets go some where else." I looked at him and walked to my door and said goodnight to everyone it was about 11 so we were all getting ready for bed. I turned my light off got my vans on and fallowed Jeff out the window and down the street to the forest I was confused on why we were going there. "Kimberly look, we can't see each other anymore, it's not that I don't like you anymore it's because I do, and I want you to be safe-" "wait what, but I am sa-" "let me finish, thank you, my , um well leader said that I am putting you and everyone around you in danger, and it's true there's things out here that will hurt anything that I love, and Kimberly I do love you that's why I'm leaving, I won't see you anymore I'm sorry." I just stood there in the rain, it started raining harder, he started walking away. "Jeff wait." I ran over to him and hugged him. He hugged me back and we said bye. I couldn't say bye, it would hurt, I loved him I think, I've never loved anyone before, and if this is what love is I hated it. I started crying, he just left me, never gave me warning before, he just said its to dangerous and left. I looked down at my bracket and it flashed a purple light. I heard something and started running home. I climbed through my window and kicked my shoes off and took my coat off, I jumped in bed and started crying. I fell into a deep sleep but before I did the last thing I saw, I swear I saw Jeff in my room.
