The Forbidden Forest

Prologue

Onyx was five when he first found the forbidden forest rumor was that it only appeared to those in need or trouble it was forbidden for many reasons mainly because the gods and goddess of the earth lived there like Athena for instance Onyx heard many stories about them so he was fascinated with them but on that day that it appeared he entered the thick forest consisted of pine trees after a few minutes of wondering he realized he was lost Onyx being only five cried until he saw a women in the distance he wiped his tears and ran to her lost and scared were his only feelings

Aiyana was only 6 and lived in the Forbidden Forest her mother Athena had sent her off a week ago to find a promising apprentice as she wondered the forest lost in thought she saw something no someone running at her a boy very young to she quickly drew her bow and watched carefully he was human no doubt which means that he is troubled or in need she replaced her bow as he hugged her leg and yelped for help she squatted and picked him up he looked like a promising apprentice she laughed and gave him her signature smirk "hello youngen im Aiyana what is your name?" the young boy looked up with glistening tears in his eyes and stuttered "I'm-i'm Onyx" she could see the fear in his eyes and patted his head gently taking him back to Athena's place

At six years old Onyx learned the ways of Athena and her daughter Aiyana had grown quite fond of Onyx they were great friends who went on many adventures but on this one adventure sent to them by Zues himself something went wrong and changed both of their lives forever.....

(I'm so sorry that this is so short i really am but chapter 1 is longer don't worry and the more readers i get the longer it will be anyway i dedicated this prologue to a friend of mine she said i should make one i usually don't though)
