Chapter 5

Michelle's POV

Finally it's Saturday!! The whole week went well, I didn't talk to Kian much. It was still early in the morning, I wanted to take a walk at the park so I took a shower and wore something comfortable which was my fav sweatshirt that says 'I love California' on it. Sam gave it to me.

I went downstairs and went straight to the door without bothering to eat anything. It was still early so I guessed that I'd be back right on time for breakfast.

I was about to open the door when "Michelle?" I heard. I turned around to see Kian standing at the foot of the stairs.

I know I've been here only for a week, but I can't stop thinking how perfect Kian is. He looks perfect all the time. Seriously, he is heart-stoppingly cute.

"Michelle?" His voice brought me back to reality.

"Huh? Yeah?" I answered like an idiot.

He chuckled before saying "where are you going?"

"To the park"

"Oh okay. I'll go with you" he offered with a smile.

"It's fine I'll go by myself."

"C'mon I wanna go with you. Well..uh if you don't mind of course. Pweaseeeeeeeee" he whined.

"Hmm.. Let me-" he interrupted me by saying "you don't have a choice lil Missy. Besides, you don't even know where the park is and you might get lost"

He's right. I don't know where the park is. I'm stupid. Before I could answer, he dragged me out of the house and started walking with me.

A few minutes later, we arrived at a park. It was beautiful. We sat on a bench. Yeah, we just sat there. We didn't talk, we were just looking at the scenery.

Finally, Kian spoke up "hey, do you want ice cream?"

Ice cream??!! Of course, who can say no to that? "Oohh ice cream? Yes please. I've been craving it since last week."

"Lets go" he giggled. "there's an ice cream place nearby". He stood and stretched out his hand for me to hold. I took his hand and followed him. We arrived at the ice cream place and I was a bit surprised cuz it was quite early in the morning and it was open. Who eats ice cream this early? Oh right, us.

Since there weren't many people, there wasn't a line so we just went to the counter and ordered. I ordered cookie and cream while Kian ordered cookie dough.

He paid for our ice cream. We walked out and I got some money out of my pocket and gave it to Kian. "Here, this is for the ice cream." "What!? No no no! It's my treat." "But Kian-" "Nooooo!! N + O means NO so no" he said while smiling at me. "Thank you" i said and smiled at him. This must be my lucky day. We walked with. I was about to take a spoon of my ice cream when I tripped on a rock. My precious ice cream fell out of my hand. All I wanted to do was cry.... so much for a lucky day. Curse you rock!!

"You okay?" Kian asked me while giggling a little.

"Yeah.. I'm fine but my ice cream's not." I said and pouted

"Awww...poor Elle..." he said in a baby voice. "Hahah...c'mon let's go get you a new one." He said

"What? No. It's fine. I was just kidding" I said giggling. All I wanted to do was go home and eat my breakfast and then stay in bed all day. That's actually a pretty good idea. I'll put that in my to-do-list.

"Okay then. Here have some of mine" he took a spoonful of his ice cream. Aww... That's sweet.

"No thanks, I don't like cookie dough" I didn't want to eat his ice cream.

"What?? You don't like cookie dough? I've never heard anyone say that before and no one's ever say no to my offer. Cuz you know, I have my charms."

"Hahah well guess what? Your charms won't work on me, hun"

"C'mon, it won't hurt to try some.. It's really good" he said. Should I?p

I took the spoonful of ice cream into my mouth. Yumm!! Never thought I'd say this ... Cookie dough is pretty good. Better than cookies and cream. Wait, no. Cookies and cream is the best.

"So, what do you think?" Kian asked

"It's actually pretty good".

"I told you" he said poking my nose. I giggled

He smiled at me and we walked back home while talking about whatever
