If you came here via a Tweet or FB posting, or even from the genre search in wattpad, you may be asking yourself this question: Where's the Fiction?
The idea for this WIP was to write a dream I had last night and another I had a couple nights ago. I toyed with the thought of keeping an online log of story ideas by writing down the dream notes which usually are hidden away in the "Projects" folder on my laptop. When I created the project title and description on wattpad, though, this WIP began metamorphosing. Now it has totally gotten away from me.
Wattpad makes you choose a category right off the bat. (cliche!) I chose "General Fiction" figuring most of this would be dreams--I mean, writing ideas. When you want writing advice there are millions of places on the web and very successful (i.e. famous) authors who have put their own formulas out there for you. Find a creative writing class? Then there's a professor to whom you may make inquires.
No one says to themselves "I think I'll find advice from some indie author who very few people have heard of and who has had limited success thus far."
However, if you are one of those rare individuals, keep tuning in.
