Still hugging melody, Ren had been holding his eyes to stare back at jealous Zynth. Now that melody had calmed down, she let go and walked to stand next to the pouty senior before leaning over and kissing his cheek.
Before Zynth and Citrix had moved here, she was bullied and picked on. She was afraid everyone was that way. But an evening of events, strange someone would say, had happened. Started when the murders had just begun. Everyone blamed her. Everyone was scared of her.
They thought she was the murderer, out to kill the students for revenge. But then she had ran into Ren, her only safe escape. And to him as well.
They became closer and closer, the murders had slowly come to a solid Holt. When the murders stopped, love started. Melody and Ren started dating.
Was it supposed to happen? Was it a joke? No, for real. Holding hands and everything, till Hayden spotted her. Their life went sideways, and then crashed right in front of everyone. Even in front of her demon shadow.
