Luke had always been complaining about how you don't cook for him, so today you decided that you'd cook him up some southern soul food. He was going to be back from the studio in about three hours. You cooked up some homemade buttermilk biscuits, crispy fried chicken, corn bread, and collard greens. You were happy with the turn out of all your dishes and began to set up the table. Just as you finished, Luke came walking into the room.
"What's that smell?" He asks walking into the kitchen.
"I cooked for you." You piped up, showing him all the different dishes laid out on the table. His eyes scans over everything in awe.
"Wow, this looks really good." He sits down and you start serving him up a plate. "What's this?" He asks pointed to the green veggies on his plate.
"It's called collard greens." You explain it to him. He nods, picking it up with his fork. He shoves the fork full in his mouth, nodding his head in satisfaction at the taste. You got your own plate and started eating, watching as he began to try everything else on his plate. He dove right into the fried chicken and devoured it so quickly.
"Oh gosh!" He moans in delight, leaning back in his chair after having three plates of food. "That was so good, please cook that more often." He smiles wiping his mouth with a napkin. You laugh getting up to put the dirty plates in the sink.
"Fine, but you're washing the dishes since I was the one who cooked." You started placing the left over food into containers to store in the fridge. Luke stood up and pecked you on the lips.
"Thanks for dinner princess." Then he walked over to the sink to wash the plates.
