Carly hates people. She wishes that she could just live life without ever having to deal with a single, disgusting, dramatic, human. It bothers her how egotistical and pathetic all the girls are at her high school and it drives her nuts when every boy she meets acts like a total toad.
That all changes when Carly meets Alex. He's simple, kind and gentle. He's in his second year of college and is absolutely gorgeous.
