The male sighed and fumbled with his fingers as he spaced out, sweat dripping down his slightly paled face. He cleared his throat as you leaned on his desk, a small smile on your face. "Leon! Hey, are you ok?" You giggled, moving a few strands of hair from your (E/C) eyes, the male quickly blinking and becoming flustered, his face darkening to a dark shade of red. "I'm fine.." He replied, tugging at the collar of his white jacket. "I need to collect your list of people you recommend for the project." You replied as he hesitantly purposely put his paper at the bottom of the stack. "Now go." He growled slightly, leaning on his elbow. 'Strike one, Kuwata.. Come on..' He sighed. After class you saw him wandering through the halls, and ran up to him. "Leon!" You exclaimed, waving and running up. "What? What is it?" He asked, adjusting his piercings. "Um.. I wanted to know if you were free tomorrow, to study?" You smiled, clutching your books tightly to your chest. In a slight panic, he responded, "I have baseball practice." With a cold tone in his voice and walked away. "O-Oh.. Ok..." You sighed, rubbing your neck and looking down as you walked to your next class. 'Strike two! What the hell are you thinking, wise guy?!' He thought, slamming his fist on his palm. The next day at school, Leon never said good morning like he usually would. You two seemed to avoid each other that day, communicating in sighs. You felt a crumpled note hit you as you unraveled it. 'Come to my place after school! -❌Leon'. You looked at him from across the classroom. He was slightly shaking. When class ended for the day, before you could say a word to him, he ran off to his home. You sighed, putting your books away and walking to his house. "Leon?" You asked, knocking on his door. "Hey, (Y/N).." He gestured for you to come in and sit on the couch with him. "The reason I invited you over today.. I'm sorry.. I was being really mean.." He lowered his head. "No, it's fine." You gave a small laugh. "No.. The truth is.. Ihavehadacrushonyouforareallyreallylongtime." He said quickly, shutting his eyes and bracing himself in fear. 'Strike thre-!' His thoughts were interrupted by your lips connecting with his, Leon's eyes widening as his face turned a dark shade of maroon. "Don't be silly. I really like you too.." You smiled, gripping his hand and intertwining your fingers. "(Y/N).." He smiled back, embracing you tightly before pecking your forehead. 'Grand slam..' The male thought before beginning to stroke your hair.
