Speak Up? (Nagito Komaeda x Shy! Reader)

(In this AU, your talent is the Ultimate Tight-roper; a talent that relies both on skill and luck. Apologies, I can't really think of any 'luck-based/luck-related' talents, so please deal with that haha)

You've always been shy, and you couldn't help it. Whether it was an introduction, presentation, or ordering food at a restaurant, you were always told, "Speak up?", to which you'd comply, blushing heavily. You'd been attending Hope's Peak for about a week, mostly avoiding your peers due to your nature. Though you knew they were high school students just like you, you always felt a bit off. Like your talent wasn't as impressive. You could walk across a rope. So what? That's why playgrounds have balance beams!!
Getting assigned a lab partner was nightmare to you; you'd be sitting with this person for an entire semester! What if you were stuck sitting with Hanamura!? (I'm kidding; Teruteru is actually one of my favorite SDR2 boys haha) You sighed, taking your supplies and walking over to your assigned table. There sat a boy around your age; white-ish hair, and a pair of beautiful eyes. He looked causal; a jacket, shirt, and jeans. Looking at him, not a single talent popped into your head as a possibility.
"Oh, hello there," he spoke. You looked up at him, letting out a nervous squeak. "Sorry," he apologizes, "I didn't mean to scare you. My name is Nagito Komaeda..my talent..isn't very important.." The boy, known to you now as Nagito, looked away in slight embarrassment. You then barely utter out your name and talent, to which you get back your "favorite" phrase; "Speak up?". You give your information a second time, louder. Nagito gives you a warm smile, and you feel your cheeks begin to heat up. "A tightroper? That sounds..cool.. it's way better than my dumb talent.." Nagito crosses his arms with a sigh. You put an arm on his shoulder and give a shy smile, "How about...we hang out after school today..? You can tell me about your talent and..we can become better friends?" You ask quietly. Nagito's frown turns into an ear-to-ear smile!! Eeeeek!!! How absolutely adorable!!
"Alright, deal," Nagito mods. The two of you get to work, each of you leaving to your next classes after the hour ends. Soon enough, the school day is over. You told Nagito to meet you by the main entrance before you left. You dash over to your rendezvous point to see him already standing there. After this, the two of you wander off to a nearby park. "So..you wanted to know about my talent..?" He sighs. You give a nod in reply. "It's..nothing special.. I'm just.. lucky.." He groans. You've been in school with this kid for a week, and you've already caught feelings for him. Good grief. Knowing that his talent too relies on something so odd as luck makes your heart skip a beat. Before you know what you're doing, you quickly lean in and peck him on the lips before frantically apologizing. You mean to say, "sorry I have kind of a crush on you and just knowing we're so similar makes it so much better!" But you seem to be speaking a bit too fast for him to understand, but somehow, he does. Nagito takes both of your hands in his and leans close, before kissing you gently. It feels nice, comforting, relaxing.. you lose yourself for a moment before leaning back. Nagito laughs and wraps an arm around you. "You know,
I'm surprised I was able to understand that jumble. One suggestion though." He smiles, before leaning close with a giggle, "Speak up!" Hearing this, you feel your cheeks redden and you bury your face in his chest. You felt as if you became the Ultimate Lucky Student; all because you had him.
