It was Friday night, and I was driving to the restaurant. I decided to follow Ayleecia's advice, so I was wearing my red dress that came to just above the knee, and a black trench coat. I took my Dad's red convertible, and had the top down so I would get some fresh air. Jeremy was sitting in the passenger's seat, on his phone, he still hasn't said anything... not even to ask to drive.

As I pulled up, he hopped out, again saying nothing. Why does he have to be silent. Its so awkward! We walked into the restaurant; I gave them my Dad's credit card.

"Hi, my names Peggy, and I'll be your waitress for tonight. Would you like some drinks to start off?" A perky brunette asked as she stopped at our table once Jeremy and I had sat down.

"Sure can I have a Coke, and Jeremy?" I looked at him, trying to find some response to my question, or even to look up, it's like his a brick wall! His head down in his phone.

"Can I get a Fanta please." The waitress smiled at me as she went towards, I'm guessing, the bar.

I sat there literally twiddling my thumbs. "So..?" I asked internally cringing.

He gave me a look, "What?"

"I don't know." I replied sheepishly.

He shook his head and went back to his phone. Once Peggy returned with our drinks, we stayed silent. I took a sip through my straw. This was going to be a long night.

After a while we had talked only a little bit between about what to eat. "Do you have a job?"

"Yeah, I work at 'Jaxon clothing line.'" Jeremy's eyes lit up a little, I think in wonder...

"Really? I got a tranfered to their pop-up store. Which one do you work at?" Jeremy took a bite out of his steak.

"I work at the pop-up store actually. I'm going to be doing your orientation tommorrow." I took another swig of my soft drink.

Jeremy raised his eyebrows, "How much do you know? About me I mean."

"All really know is that you came from Adeliade. And that your The Son of The Mark Frost, as the way Ben put it."

Jeremy nodded, "Yeah, I get that alot I guess, did you tell them about this... thing between us?" I pointed his index finger pointing at him then me.

I shifted in my seat. "Yes I did. We are a tight knit group, plus if we do go through with it, then they have to know." I shrugged, taking a bite out of my chicken.

"If? My father said it was definite. He doesn't say that unless, you know, his serious."

"Urhm, my father made a deal with me."

He raise his eyebrow, was he jealous? Or is that confusion, I can normally read people without this much trouble.

"What kind of deal?"

"Well if I sincerely hate you and we can't make it work then I have to choose from the other prospects and Marry them straight away..."

"Oh?"

"We still have to give this a full go." I shrugged and took another bite from my chicken. Jeremy nodded and we mindlessly chatted till the end of the night.

Once back at my house Jeremy hopped into his car and I waved him off. I got into my pyjamas and decided to go to bed, tommorow was going to be a big day.

'Beep' a piercing sound cut my sleep into half, and maybe little tiny pieces...

I reached over to the alarm rolling over a little bit. I felt the side table; and kept reaching over trying to find the button.
