As the bus pulled up Amber reassured me things will be okay, she must know I have a thing with being bullied. It felt good to have these guys behind me.
The bus ride went okay, I only noticed a few death glares and had a few paper balls thrown at my head, at one point Austin stood up and told them to cut their shit and to leave me alone, I can tell he's protective already.
When we got to the school I took out my phone and texted Deryk "hey Deryk, I get along with the kids here and I feel really at home I'm not to sure about school though... Wish me luck" and put my phone away Austin gave me his number and told me to text him if I had a problem today.
As I was walking into guidance I could feel people staring me down, I hope this stop I can't deal with this. Thenlady at the desk asks for my name "Emma Graham" I reply, she prints out my schedule and I leave.
I had my first period class with Kevin he sat next to me and tried to make me feel welcome. He passed me a note with his number on it and said to text him and we'll meet up outside for lunch.
The first five periods past fast then it was time for gym class, I got nervous as Mrs. Tay handed me my gym outfit, shorts and a short sleeve shirt. I asked her if I could have a long sleeve shirt cause I was cold she told me I'd be fine and I'd warm up when we shart running around.
I went in to get changed and texted Austin, "Emergency, gym class+fresh cuts what do I do?! HELP!!!!" he texted back fast and said "Don't sweat it, just wear your hoodie and be careful"
I go out all dressed Mrs. Tay yells "one mile run, go" "shit" I murmer, I start running I'm almost done with the mile and I suddenly feel really dizzy so I stop and put my hands on my knees "Ms. Graham keep your tootsies moving" she yelled I slowly fell to floor and can't remember much but everyone running to me.
Next thing I remember I'm laying in the nurses office with ice dripping down my face, it felt nice. "wears my hoodie?" I ask frantically " Ella you passed out from being to hot no hoodie, but I'm concerend about these scars on your arms are you hurting yourself on purpose?" She asked. "Thats none of your business" I said nasitily at her. "Anyway Sabrina Genish is coming to pick you up, go get changed" She said
I ran to the changing room grabbed my clothes and put them on as fast as possible, i didn't want anyone seeing my arms, I don't want to be known as the freak not again. I checked my phone and I had 6 texts One from Sabrina "how's school going? You okay?" I knew she'd text me. One from Deryk "it'll be okay kiddo just stay calm, I'm glad you like this family they like you too. Call me if you need anything." Three from Austin "how'd gym go?" "Ella? Are you okay? I heard some new kid passed out in gym" "Ella I'm really worried please text me back." One from Kevin "Meet me by the lobby doors after school I'll walk you to the bus" I texted Austin back told him I was fine but I was going back to the house to rest and I'll talk to him later and if he could get my work for me. Texted Kevin "I'm leaving early and we'll do it tomorrow I promise (:"
Sabrina got there and was so worried about me and that I have to play gym and no funny more business. I promised her I'll participate and I was sorry she had to leave work just to come get me. "It's okay but incase you weren't already told you, Austin, and, Amanda are on house arrest cause I caught you with cuts or something else okay?" she said sernly "Okay, um why do you do body checks if you know we're just going to do it anyway?" I asked. "Because I wish to break you all of these habits, I've almost broken Kevin of it, I'm so proud of him" she said.
"Now I wan't you to go up and rest we'll call you down fo dinner okay?" Sabrina says "Okay" I reply, as I go up to my room.
I lay down in fresh new sheets, Sabrina must have seen the bloody oones and changed them for me and drifted off to sleep. It was probably the best sleep I've had in a while. I awaken to the sound of Austin knocking on my door. "come in" I whisper still half asleep.
"You feeling okay?" Austin Asked whike engulfing me into a hug, "yeah no more running inside a hot smelly gym im a fleece hoodie" I said
