dedicated to:

MissMythoMagic for giving me a heartbreaking story that I plan to continue reading. Now, I'll give you a chapter.

Erins POV

I woke up when I heard Omega's screams. Knowing he was having a nightmare, I slipped out of bed and put on my black robe. Glancing back at my room with it's red color and fiery orange bed and sheets, I slipped silently into the dark hallway and towards Hurricanes room. Pausing at the door, I listened to make sure he was awake so I wouldn't wake him up without soothing him first. What I heard shocked me.

"Noooo...." Omega moaned from inside the room. "Erin no!" He screeched. Without hesitating now, I threw open his door just as he woke up. Not noticing me yet as I was covered in shadows, his put his head in his hands and whispered, "What is to come?" I chose that moment to make my presence known.

"Hurricane?" I whispered, shutting the door behind me to make it look like I had just entered and heard nothing. His head shot up and his black hair fell into his eyes, but not before I could see they were bloodshot.

"E-Erin?" He mumbled, falling back onto his bed. Quietly, I sat down next to him and ran my hand through his hair.

"Percy, what did you dream about this time?" I asked soothingly, employing a little power in my words. I needed to calm him down. He choked on his words as he looked at me sadly and answered, "Nothing. Don't worry. Just pass memories." I frowned, knowing he was lying.

"Don't lie, you don't need to protect me." I said, grabbing his chin and forcing him to met my gaze. This was not the side of Percy I was used too. I'd never seen him so broken.

"I-I just saw a glimpse of the future. Nothing to worry about."

"I heard you screaming."

"Erin! It was nothing. J-just something that startled me. Don't worry."

"Tell me." I said, putting more power into my words. "Anything that even causes my boyfriend to blink is something I can worry about. Especially if my boyfriend is a fearless leader.

"Fine." He said, eyes a little glazed. "It was about the prophecy. It was about me alright? A-nd, you were there but I couldn't help you. Tartarus.....he shot a beam of darkness at you and then I woke up."

My heart pattered. No. If what Percy said was really the future, It meant that he was going to help the enemy. But why?

Percy's POV

I glanced at Erin, she was hyperventilating,

"Erin, are you alright?" I said quickly. Her head snapped around and she gazed at me, brown eyes meeting sea green.

"F-fine. I-I Percy, this means you're the one in the prophecy. y-your going to turn and leave me." She whispered, voice cracking.

"Erin, this is why I didn't want to tell you! And besides, prophecy have double meanings...sometimes."

Erin's eyes burned with fire, literally. They changed from a glowing brown to a really glowing fiery orange red brown. This happened when she got angry. "Sometimes?! And would you rather me not knowing that it was to come?!" She screeched, probably waking up everyone else in the building. Are enough I could hear the muttering and groaning of the other warriors.

"Look, Erin-"

"Percy. I-I'm going to go get some air." Then she ran out of the room, tears streaming down her cheeks. Sighing, I slammed my fist onto my pillow, punching it over and over again. Then I got up, took a shower, slipped into some more black clothes, a cloak, and a hood. Then I strapped my swords to my belt and grabbed some other random weapons. I was going to train. However, before I left, I yanked down my hood. Everyone knew who I was anyways and it was hot under there.

---------Time Passes-------

I looked up from the demolished dummy, beads of sweat running down my neck. I had been beating the poor thing up for about 5 hours now, never stopping for anything. I'd even enchanted it so it could fight me back, the same level and style of fighting I was using or the complete opposite. I figured it was finally time to take a break. I walked down to the dinning hall where I saw something that made my heart shatter. Again.

ERIN.WAS.KISSING.ALEX!

Annabeth's POV

I watched smugly as I saw Percy's jaw drop at the illusion. Yes, I said illusion. I payed some Hecate camper to bend the mist to make it seem like Erin and Alex were kissing. Well, I payed and threatened them. Anyways, I watched as Percy's eyes turned from a confident, sparkling sea green to a broken shade of swirling disgust. Now was my time to act.
I put on my best heartbroken face and thought of something really sad, flunking a test. Immediately tears came flooding. Smiling on the inside, I sobbed and inched closer to Percy slowly. If my plan worked, which it would, I would be back in his arms in no time.

Percy's POV
I let out an anguished cry when I found my voice again. Biting down on my lip, I noticed a crying Annabeth inching her way towards me. Knowing that she was probably up to no good, I ran off into the forest, not bothering to stop the tears from pouring down my face. Twice. Twice I had been heartbroken, and this time for good. Telepathically, I cried out to Erin, why? Then I shut the connection and drifted off to sleep, tears drying halfway down my face.
I had the same dream. Except this time, the blast that shot down Erin came from me.
I awoke, heart even more shattered to people calling my name.
"PERCY!" I heard Luke shouting. Sighing, I crawled off the rock and to my feet. Brushing any evidence of tears away I called back to him.
"WHAT LUKE?!" I shouted, voice cracking mid way.
He burst into the clearing and nearly knocked me over. "Jason Grace and Piper McLean have returned from a quest to find the same golden apples I stole in the first place. They want to see you."
"Alright." I said cooly, voice free of any emotion. And from that moment on, I knew I would be heartless. For my heart had shattered once, leaving half. And the other half had just been broken as well.
I met Jason and Piper with a false smile on my face. Grinning hurt.
"Hey bro.... Look, I'm sorry for what we did to you all those years ago. We were idiots to follow Alex. Jerks. Bullies." Jason said immediately, Piper nodding.
"It's alright." I said, trying to keep the smile plastered on my face. On the inside, I was itching to unleash my anger and destroy the camp. But they didn't have to know that.
"Really? That's cool man. Uh, well, see you around!" I waved goodbye as the happy couple walked away, leaving me to my depression.

Annabeth's POV
My plan didn't work on Percy, well, not the whole him-falling-for-me again thing. I could still get to the other girl though.
Erin's POV
I sat on the sand of the beach, watching the waves roll in and out. The sea green color was the exact same shade as Percy's eyes. I sighed contently, wishing the moment could last forever. The sea breeze ruffled my hair as I heard soft footsteps coming towards me and the sound of crying. Whipping my head around, I saw Annabeth.
"Erin? That's your name right?" She asked, choking. I nodded, eyebrows scrunching together, what was she up to? "I-I though I should tell you. P-Percy just kissed-kissed Selene from the Aphrodite cabin. I asked him if he was cheating on you and he-he said you had dumped him and gone out with Alex!" She was crying harder now. But I didn't notice, a fist clenched around my heart as I heard the news about Percy. Surely, it wasn't true. Without thinking I took off, running to find him. Then I stopped as he telepathically said why in my head. Then the connection was cut. I felt hot tears coming as I ran, and then I saw him, talking with a blonde guy and a girl with dark hair and a blue feather in it.  He said goodbye and smiled, but I could tell even from far away that it was forced. He didn't look so good. I crept up to him.
"Percy! How could you?" I cried, barely containing my anger and grief. He spun around, a mad look in his eyes.
"Me!? What did I do Erin! You broke me!" He shouted, eyes filling with tears.
"What are you talking about?!" I screamed, tears blurring my vision.
"Don't lie Erin! I saw it for myself." He hissed, voice dripping with venom. "I'm leaving, so goodbye." He said, spinning on his heel and running away. I fell to the ground, cradling my head as I sobbed. He left, and the prophecy had been determined.
