"Now."
The one word rang in my head as I awoke. It had been a week since I had joined Tartarus, and today I was finally going to find out who his "friend" was. I was now know as Commander Destroyer, leader of Tartarus' army. He had given me more powers over darker things and the ability to control and speak with monsters. But my heart was still gone for good.
Dressing quickly, I ran to the throne room, not even bothering to tie my shoelaces. Quickly fumbling into a bowing position I said, "Lord Tartarus."
"Ahh Destroyer, excited I observe?"
"Yes my lord."
"Good. Now, my young commander, let me introduce you to our friend." There was a blast of light and the cloaked figure was there, except he wasn't cloaked anymore.
"Void?" I guessed randomly.
"YES." He hissed. No wonder he looked exactly like Chaos, except darker. "I'VE BEEN LOCKED IN PRISON SINCE THE DAWN OF TIME AND I WANT MY REVENGE!" He shouted.
"Woah there fella. No need to shout." I said, raising my hands. Yes, I'm still a little sarcastic. What?! I kept my sense of humor!
"DO NOT CALL THE MAKER OF THE UNIVERSE FELLA! I prefer dude." He said raising his hand for a high five.
"I think we are going to be great friends Void." I said, grinning. "Nice to meet ya dude."
"Sorry to interior your delightful bromance, but Commander, it's time." Tartarus said, grinning from ear to ear.

Erin's POV
Alright. I'll admit it. I'm heartbroken. I haven't even moved since I fainted a week ago, and I can't think straight. He left me. Just thinking this, a tear rained down and slip across my nose, dripping into my mouth. The warm salty taste reminded me of ghe ocean, reminding me of him. I couldn't take it any longer. With a shout, I launched myself from the bed and grabbed my cloak. Quickly, I glanced in the mirror to see how bad I looked.
It was awful.
I had thick, black circles under my eyes which were bloodshot, my normally wavy hair was stringy and everywhere, my face had dried tears all over it, you know what, I could go on for days. Ha. Quickly, I tided up, brushing my hair furiously, taking a shower, using a lot of conditioner, brushing my hair again, getting dressed and I was ready to go.
I ran out of the building, only pausing to wave and say hello to my friends who'd been taking care of me the last past week. But I was running at top speed, towards the Big a House. It was time to issue this quest.
But as I reached the big house, the war conch sounded.
