Chapter 14

I woke up later to being held by Alec, who was watching for something. "Is something wrong?" I asked. He looked down, sighing as he kissed my head. He whispered, "Do you remember how you died?" I shook my head "no" as his grip tightened on me. "Come on, we got to get to the pack house," he stated as he stood up still holding me.

"Can I get dressed?" I asked as he started to walk to the camp, leaving our clothes. "The pack will get our clothes and we can get dressed at the camp. No one will be there when we arrive," he told me as he started to walk faster. "Oh... I love you," I told him as I snuggled closer to him. He smiled at me as he continued our long walk through the forest. "I love you so much. I felt like I was dying when I wasn't with you," he whispered in my hair before kissing my head. Now that I thought about it, he was really pale when I first saw him.

"Were you actually dying?" I interrogated as we slowly made it to a clearing. "Yes, I was," he informed me. I frowned as he continued to walk through the flowers that were still taking their time to grow. "Why didn't you get me before?" I asked. "I needed them to think I was dead," he said. I frowned before noticing my dad was in the clearing.

"Why are we here?"

"You're dad was waiting for us, I could smell him for a bit."

I glared at Alec before realizing we both were naked and blushed. "Kids," my father's gravelly voice came out. I nodded my head at him as he handed us both clothes, ones from the time when he was younger and some of my clothes. I got dressed and as I finished pulling up my pants, Adrian and Vimitri came into the meadow. They both were blushing and walking slower and slower as if they were meeting their doom.

"Father," Vimitri said stiffly. "Vimitri, you found the one!" My father exclaimed. He nodded his head blushing as he held Adrian's hand. "What?!" I screamed out. They looked at me shocked for some reason before Alec asked, "What did you just say?" I raised an eyebrow at them and retorted, "I said What?!" They still looked at me bewildered until Sphynx came into the clearing.

"He said what," he stated loud and clear. "What's going on?" I asked. "You will need to be taught how to keep yourself from changing into the demonic language," he replied. I sighed until I thought of something. "Or I could use a spell," I said smirking. Sphynx grinned at me nodding his head. "The language is called Rhefugi," he said as he sat down to watch me. "Ich halte meine gesprochene Zunge aus Rhefugi," I chanted. He smiled at me before nodding his head towards the others.

"Please tell me it worked," I said. "Well I can understand you now," Alec said as he wrapped my arms around my waist, "Although, that language you were speaking was pretty sexy," he mumbled kissing my mark and nibbling on my ear afterwards. I grinned up at him before looking at Vimitri and Adrian. "When did this happen?" I asked.

"Around the time you found Alec."

"You mean you didn't run into him until a week after your birthday?" I asked disbelieving this.

"Yeah..." Adrian said blushing.

I giggled then looked at Alec. "Well looks like we all get our happy ending," I said. "Well, not exactly," my father interrupted, "You are all banished from the kingdom." I gasped but nodded my head feeling numb. "The pack isn't far from here and your father can always visit," Alec said. "We could make an alliance," Ferrick suggested as he walked into the meadow. "No, we can't. My wife hates the werewolves and she is slowly taking over the kingdom, tearing it apart. It's like she is no longer herself," he said solemnly. I shook my head then smiled at him. "It's just stress, Dad. When Will takes the crown you will both be fine." He smiled and rubbed my head affectionately before leaving. "Goodbye kids!" He yelled. I waved to him as he left then turned to Alec.

"Let's get going to the pack," I said before pressing a sweet, gentle kiss to his lips. He nodded his head before picking me up bridal style and running in the direction of the pack.
