Chapter 7: Woe is Me

It felt so good to go back to work again, I really missed my office.
I got off the elevator smiling brightly, I mean what woman wouldn't be happy that her man came over to lay next to her.

Also, the time of the month decided to leave earlier this morning so I was in the greatest mood.

"Wow, someone's in a good mood"

Sarah the head secretary also my B.W.F "best white friend" said nosily.

I entered my office and sat down in my chair. Ohhh, working hard never felt so good.

I turn on my laptop and began finishing the files that had a really close in due date, until I heard a knock.

"come in!"

Sarah popped her head in through the door with a wide smile.

I turned my back and heard the door close then heard the door lock.

"I haven't been at work for 10 minutes, and you already miss me.mr.greene"

I said finally turning around but to be thrown completely off and confused.

Dwayne said in the most seductive tone.

He titled his head to the side while smiling wickedly.

Sarah said laughing hysterically .

"yeah me either."

I said depressingly. Like what the hell is wrong with me. Why am I hurting the two people I love and care about. Well I don't love Calvin yet but I care about him. He makes me feel special, and this is what I'm doing?

You know what I'm going to have to tell him tonight whether I like it or not. I rather let him find out through me then walking in on me and dwyane betraying him and anais.
