Sharing a Pencil

Armen sighed as he sat down in his history class. His best friend, Drake, sat in front of him. All prepared, as always. With his history book, his notebook, his AR book, his agenda and lastly, his pencil.

The teacher took attendance and went to the front of class and turned on the projector onto a screen.

Some notes came up and he started talking about the first one and telling them to write it down. Armen went to grab his pencil and realized, he didn't have it.

"Uh oh... Hey Drake? You have a spare pencil?" Armen whispered asked. "No." Drake said whispering back. Armen sighed. Suddenly, Drake turned around and handed him a pencil. "I finished writing it, you can use it." Drake said calmly and quietly. Armen smiled and said a quiet "Thank you." And began to write.

After he was done he handed back the pencil and the next note came up. After drake was done writing he handed it to Armen.

And it was like that till the end of the class.

The next day Armen, again, forgot his pencil. And before Armen even asked Drake handed him his pencil as notes came on the screen.

This lasted for a week. A few times, Armen forgot his pencil on purpose.

He didn't know why but he liked sharing a pencil with Drake. And little did he know, Drake secretly liked it too.

On Monday the next week Drake came to class, but Armen had a pencil. This made Drake sorta... Upset, he didn't know why but he felt... Upset. He shrugged it off and sat down and places his books on his desk and turned I gave Armen. "See you have a pencil." "Ya... Teacher gave me one since I kept forgetting..." Armen said. "Oh..." They were silent for moment before Drake asked "Say,  Armen. Wanna get some coffee after school?" Armen smirked. "Are you asking me out?" "U-Um Uh..." Drake stuttered. Armen chuckled. "Don't worry. Id love too Drake." Armen smiled. Drake smiled back. "I love you..." He whispered. "I love you too." Armen replied and pecked his lips just as the bell rang.

Well. That took forever.

I actually had to share a pencil with my friend in class and thought "I could make a one shot of this!" And thus this was born.
