Chapter Two: First Day First Death

Wow, was the first thing I thought as I walked into Union Valley high school. It was huge and their where a lot of people.

I wasn't use too so many people, I was home schooled in elementary, because I didn't know I was a "Reaper" so if I had a crush on a girl.. I could've ended up killing her.

I walked up to the two large double doors that led to the main part of the school, I was receiving a lot of stares due to the fact that most of these kids knew someone and I was like and outcast.

I didn't like all this attention I was receiving, I walked quickly to the main office to find out my classes. I glanced at the secretary lady she seemed very nice.

"What can I do for you young man?"

She gave me a warm smile, I gave her a small smile in return. I told her how I was new and I didn't know what and where any of my classes are she quickly helped me and sent me on my way.

"Bye sweet heart if you need anything you can come talk to me"

With that she waved me off and went back to typing whatever she is typing about. I was walking with my face stuck in the map of the school attempting to find my first class when I bumped into someone. I must of hit the person harder then I thought, because I heard a loud thud and a curse.

"Damn it way to stay lay low" I muttered to myself

I glanced down at the girl, and no it wasn't love and first sight or some bullshit like that, she was just a girl and an average one at that. But I was raised well so I did what any well mannered boy would've done, I offered my hand so I could help her up.

"I'm so sorry, I'm new here and I didn't see you there" I said

I gave her a dazzling smile hoping she would accept my apology, like most girls they are all naive and fall for every guy that says the right things and my theory was proven with this girl here. Her cheeks were tainted with pink and she was looking away from me as I helped her up.

"I'm Xavier Reaper, I'm new here what's your name?"

She smiled at me no longer blushing, but still seemed a little shy..

"My name is Arizona, and you already told me you were new, you just repeated yourself" she giggled.

Crap I thought to myself, I started blushing now, not because she was cute or anything. But because I was making a fool of myself because I had no clue how to talk to people!

"Ah, sorry about that I'm not good with talking to people I'm kind of a loner." I said

I have no clue why I was telling this stranger so much about myself, I don't even know why I told her my damn last name! Much less that I am a loner.. She must thing I'm a weirdo. She just stared at me, then she started laughing in my face.. That didn't feel to good.

"Yea well bye.." I muttered

I started to walk away and she must of realized, because I heard light feet running after me..

"Hey wait up! I'm sorry for laughing!" She was panting probably because she ran after me..

"Yea I don't appreciate people who I'm so open with to start laughing at me.." I glared at her

"I really am sorry, I could help you get to your classes" she smiled touching my shoulder

I glanced down at her hand, because I wasn't use to human touch other than my family so the action felt foreign to me. But it made me feel warm inside to know she actually wanted to help me. I glanced at her and she has a genuine smile plastered on her face.

"Alright, Arizona I'll take you up on that offer do you know where these places are, although your also new to this school, you probably know this school better than I do."

I'm pretty sure I was rambling, but I wasn't sure what to say, and she wasn't saying anything she was just staring at my schedule. I was starting to get nervous.

"Uhm Arizona? You okay? Your just staring at my schedule is there something wrong?" I asked beginning to get worried.

She looked up at me, and smiled.

"Nope nothings wrong! We have every single class together! We're going to be best friends Xavier!" She exclaimed

"I would like that very much Arizona" I said smiling down at the little red head

"Okay well lets go to our first class then, we don't want you getting your first tarty!" She said

Arizona grabbed my hand, and pulled me down the busy hallway to our first class.

All through the day, I've been receiving stares and insults as I walked down the halls, and in my classroom. It seem like I'm already the target for bullying, I don't really care that much. The insults are nothing to hurtful just the usual fag, homo, retard, dumb ass the only thing that bothers me is it's my first day and I'm getting this kind of abuse, will it be like this everyday? I was pulled out of my inner thoughts by a melodic voice it was Arizona.

"Hey Xavier!" Arizona was snapping her fingers in front of my face, with one hand on her hip.

"Huh?"

Was my very clever response..

"Don't let these people get to you okay? There all just jerks with nothing better to do with their time so they pick on people.." Arizona was staring into my eyes and she spoke.

"Yeah I'll try Arizona" was my reply

I didn't know how well I could contain my anger, if this bullying went on. I defiantly did not want to hurt anyone on my first day. Arizona and I were walking back to our table with our trays full, we were talking about a class when I tripped over someone's foot and face planted. I got up my face was red as hell and I was covered in food. I looked around frantically looking for the bastard who tripped me, when my eyes fell upon Blake from my gym class laughing and receiving high fives from his friends.

"Hey little bitch! You might wanna watch where your going!" Blake was taunting me.

Everyone in the cafeteria was laughing, expect Arizona she was just staring at me. I could see that she felt defeated, because she didn't know what to do to help me. I stared at Blake my eyes no longer were electric blue, but black as space. I was no longer my self, I needed to get out of here before I did something drastic. I turned around and headed for the cafeteria doors, my hand was about to push the door open when he said something that made me snap.

"Ohhh, are running like a little bitch to mommy? Is she going to bathe you and clean you all up? Then stroke your hair and tell you everything is alright? Well she won't be there because she'll be at my house sucking my di--" Blake didn't get to finish his sentence

My hand was already around his throat, I stared into his eyes and let out a sinister laugh, and quietly chanted the words I knew all to well.

"May the dawn of the dead, come upon your soul and take your life. May your afterlife be sweet as you burn in the pits of hell, Blake." I spat the words in his face and dropped him and walked away, because I knew what was going to happen.

I stepped out into the empty hall way as I felt the words of the chant burn into my arm, signaling that it was a success. As soon as the chant fades away the person will be dead. I muttered the last part to my self.

"Death by suffocation"
