How You Meet

Wesley- You were at your summer job, a lifeguard for your community pool, when you noticed a group of boys walk in. There was five of them and you found yourself sighing at the volume of their voices. What was supposed to be a quiet day turned into a fiasco by this one group of boys. You marked the page in the book you were reading and set it in your bag behind you, pulling out your phone to check for messages. There was one from your mom asking when your shift was over so she new if you would make it back for lunch. You went to reply but before you can start typing one of the boys from the group is pulling your phone out of your hands and introducing himself. "Hello, my name's Wes. What's yours?" he says. "My name's (Y/N). Can I help you with something?" you reply, reaching for your phone but not grabbing it before he pulls it further away from you. He replies quickly by saying, "Oh nothing. I just realized that there's something wrong with your phone." "And what's that?" you press. "My number's not in it," Wes says as if it's obvious. He creates his contact and hands you back your phone. When you look at the contact you laugh at the name. "Sexy Wesley?" you question, but when you look back up you realize that he's already in the water with his friends.

Keaton- You sat at a table in Starbucks, slowly sipping your coffee. It had been a long day at work and you were tired and waited for something exciting to happen. Right as you were about to move to get up and leave, a boy trips and falls on his stomach on the ground with only his hands in front of him to break his fall. You look down startled at the sudden occurrence. The boy, still laying on the floor, looks up at you, forcing a smile and groaning out a, "sorry". You finally get back voice and stand up, brushing your hands on the material covering your legs and offer him a hand, replying with, "it's alright. It wasn't your fault." He turns a bright red color as he grabs your hand and pulls himself up. "Hi my name's Keaton," he shyly says, awkwardly waving. "Hello, my name is Y/N," you reply trying to go along with the conversation but failing miserably. The awkward silence is starting to settle in but Keaton tears through it by saying, "can I buy you a drink?" as if he is searching for anything possible to say. "No thanks, I have one already," you reply holding up the cup in your hand awkwardly. "Oh right," Keaton replies, "maybe we can sit together and talk about what's going on in your life to make up for my terrifying fall." You nod your head in agreement and you both sit down. You stay there for about an hour exchanging numbers, telling awkward jokes, exchanging memories, and getting to know each other better.

Drew-You were spending the day at the beach with your friends.  You were surfing, eating snacks, tanning and just playing and hanging out in the sand.  You were laying on your stomach on top of your towel, giggling at a joke one of your friends had just told, when a shadow cast over you and everyone stopped laughing and looked behind you.  You stopped laughing and turned your head to see a boy standing over you. You quickly sit up and study his appearance, folding your hands in your lap. He has dazzling blue eyes and gorgeous blond hair.  His skin was sun kissed and he was slightly wet from the Pacific Ocean.  His swim trunks hung on his hips and you can't help checking him out. When your eyes wonder up to his face he begins talking with a giant grin on his face and you suddenly notice the group of boys a couple of yards away, giggling like little girls.  "Hi my name's Drew," he introduces himself, picking up your hand from your lap and holding it between both of his hands,  "I just came over to tell you that my **** died and I was wondering if I could bury it in your ******." Your hand instantly falls from his hands and goes to your mouth.  "Where did you even hear that?" you question, bewildered at the thought that he could just say something like that without being afraid of getting slapped. You look at all of your friends to see them gaping at the boy who you have learned to be named Drew. When you look back at him he is just standing there smirking at you.  Instead of going with your brain and slapping him you decide to figure out his reasoning behind his question.  "Was that your way of asking me out?" you ask him, raising your eyebrow in confusion. "Pretty much," he replies and you start giggling. "What?! That was my best pick-up line!" he defends as you continue laughing. Once you stop laughing, you agree to go on a date with him and you swap numbers with him. When he leaves you can't help thinking about him non-stop and your friends continuously tease you about it. The teasing doesn't phase you, though, because you are the happiest girl on the planet.
