AN- Before you read this, I wrote this story for school and there is no Ianthony sadly but I still wanted to publish it. -Olivia

I wasn't perfect, in fact I was far from it. What was so wrong about wearing flower crowns and pastel colored clothes? It seems to have captured my classmates attention and made me a victim of bullying, it doesn't bother me at all, they're all ignorant. I lay my head on my pillow, my eyes take a quick glance around my room, it was a cream white color and a single lamp by my bed side. I hardly ever come into my room, so why must it be so decorative? I slowly start to drift with nothing in particular in mind, my eyes snap open as thunder rumbles. I definitely wasn't going to get any sleep tonight.

I grab my phone from the nightstand, I plug in my earbuds. I play the music to help drown out the thunder, it only works for a brief moment. I hum along to the song and start to work on a sketch of a cartoon figure, it was no one in particular and I was doing this all under a very dim light.

I worked on the drawing till I hear my alarm clock the next morning. I groan, I didn't get any sleep last night, this was the second time this week. I slide my legs over the side of the bed, the soles of my feet touched the cold hardwood flooring, I hiss at the coldness.

"Ian get ready for school," I hear my mother yell from down the hall.

I stood up and walk over to my closet, I pick out a very light pink t-shirt with pale blue jeans, my flower crown choice of the day was a flower crown made up of only white daisies. I slip on my plain white convereses. I grab my backpack and binder, I slowly walk down the hall into the kitchen.

"Good morning mom," I kiss her cheek.

I put a piece of toast in the toaster and I pour myself a glass of milk. My mother hands me my adhd medication, I quickly took the pills and I wash it down with the milk. My toast pops up, I don't bother buttering it before placing it between my teeth.

My mother gives me a warm smile and says what she normally tells me before I head off to school, "have a good day and whatever you do, please don't fight back."

I nod and I walk out the door, the air smelt musty and humidity was radiating through the air. The moist air made it impossible for me to breath, I pull my inhaler out of my backpack, I give myself a couple puffs before placing it back into my backpack.

I didn't live too far from the school, the walk was only 8 minutes total. I walk in the front doors and was immediately stopped by Melanie, she was not my friend but we sometimes talk and hang out on a rare occasion.

"Ian, they want you in the office," she informs me.

"What for?" I didn't do anything to get in trouble, but I was still a little nervous.

"They didn't say," she replies sadly.

I sigh and I make my way to the office, there was a boy, dark brown hair and brown eyes sitting in the office. I've never seen him around before, must be new.

"Why hello Ian, since you and Anthony over there pretty much have the schedule, would you mind showing him around?" One of the office ladies asks.

"Of course," I force a smile on my face. I absolutely hate talking to people.

The boy stood up and held out a hand for me to shake, I ignore the offer and walk past him. His current smile fades off his face and he walks behind me.
